20,000 AGLOCO Sign Ups
written by John Chow
Today seems to be the day for passing milestones. Not only did I passed the 6,000 RSS milestone but I just checked my AGLOCO stats and it looks like I’ve passed the 20,000 sign up milestone.

I Can’t Believe How Easy This Is
I have to tell you, AGLOCO is pretty easy once you lay in the foundation. I haven’t done anything to promote it other than these updates and the thing just keeps on growing. At the current rate of growth, I’ll have 40,000 people in my network by the end of the year. The network has taken on a life of its own. Even if I wanted to stop it (which I don’t), I couldn’t. This is the power of a system like AGOCO - you do the work once and it could reward you for the rest of your life.
Surfing five hours a month is like nothing. I did my five hours on the second day of the month. I had forgotten to engage the Viewbar on the first day. Once the five hours of surfing was completed, I turned the Viewbar off and wait for next month. I hope they increase the number of surf hours soon because five hours is way too easy. While I am credited with a maximum five hours of surf time, my network has accumulated over 1,000 hours so far this month. I expect network surfing to hit over 7,000 hours this month, which will be double the previous month.
It’s All About Risk Vs. Reward
Even if AGLOCO completely tanks and doesn’t pay out a cent, it won’t cost me anything. As a matter of fact, I’ve already made money just by being a member. The AGLOCO website sends me a tremendous amount of traffic. This is because they link to my Viewbar video on the member account page. The traffic AGLOCO sends me is very well targeted. People running the AGLOCO Viewbar wants to make money online and that’s one of the things this blog teaches.
Doubters can say what they want about AGLOCO. It doesn’t really matter. The network will keep growing because the risk to reward ratio is so low, there is really no reason not the sign up. It cost you nothing to join and the worst case scenario is you make money. I can’t state it any more simpler than that.

Can making money be as easy as that? If so I’m in!
I’m thinking back to previous posts but did anyone ever look into the security level of AGLOCO?
I love the idea of turning it off once the 5 hours is done.
I also do that….
I really hope that your network remembers to turn it back on every month!
with the initial delay and the fact that nobody has been paid for it, it’s just suspicious.
then again, it doesn’t cost you anything
i do hope it’s not a scam and it’d work out for everybody involved
It’s only a scam if they’re lying. They’re pretty up front with it all, it’s just a bit of a roll of the dice from the outset.
lewis empire, it’s a good question about the security of agloco.
i think it’s safe to use in terms of catching a virus is concerned; you do need to be careful though as it does in a way “spying” on your activities
I was thinking about that, but I just made a recurring appointment in Outlook for every month to prevent me forgetting. All you need is one day and you got your requirement!!
I’ve been burned by way too many of these “pay to surf” programs in the past. I hope they pay out to John in the end, but I wouldn’t be surprised if more than a few of us never saw a cent from them.
The point John always pushes though is how burned can you get. Sure it’s not fun to not get paid, but if you’re looking at Agloco as a gamble, what is it that you really risk?
20,000 damn. I’ll be quite chuffed when I get to 10
it shouldn’t be hard…good luck
Everyone I came across had way to much doubt. They dislike the idea of having to download and install anything, particularly when there is money involved, they think its a scam in some odd way. I found that the amount of time I have to spend explaining to everyone wasn’t worth trying to get people to sign up. I stopped at 13.
I am sure John has such a large reader base and have no problem recruiting (obvious by his growth in numbers) but for others such as myself, it was awfully time consuming trying to convince people it isn’t a scam and the fact that there are so many unanswered questions about payment at this time, it was even more difficult. I made a lengthy page explaining everything in detailed including videos and even linked to the agloco site only to have people lose their attention span and going back to me asking more questions about Agloco.
I don’t doubt it can make money, but to me who don’t have a huge reader base blog and having to convince people have been a very difficult task. I am sure some others feel the same at some point.
If you have to convince people yourself, the AGLOCO marketing team have failed..wait..there isn’t an AGLOCO marketing team….maybe that’s the problem.
I think the idea of getting people to sign up means you are the marketing.
That said, it’s not much of a product. It is very much of those who get in first make money and if you think about getting in now you will not likely see anything. Agloco must provide a real service to the users or they will just leave it off.
With 20000 in network and 7000 hours of surfing, right now only one of every 13 are using it. My math is probably off but it is still not much of a user ratio.
The problem is that you spend way too much time telling people it isn’t a pyramid scheme and that they’ll make money if they just trust you on it. Then if they don’t, you’ve lost more than a little sway with your friends and family. And thus in the end, it’s just not worth the time and effort to a lot of people.
Hi Steven,
I think you are totally right on this one. For John Chow, this is a no-brainer and he has absolutely nothing to lose. However, for the majority of bloggers out there, pushing AGLOCO on there readers is not a good idea for the reasons you outlined.
If I am wrong, I will be the first to admit it, but I don’t think anyone is going to be making money from AGLOCO when it is all said and done. As my grandfather used to say, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” And if someone does make money, it will be John Chow, not the rest of us!
Cheers,
Ryan
even if you do make some money, you wouldn’t easily get it, as you can’t make the minimum payout unless you get a vast following like john chow does
cash quest, they do have a marketing team
they do a reasonable job with the resources given
they would’ve done better with more money…and that’s the problem…they don’t have enough…and no investors are interested in investing either, not that we know anyway
Why Steven, you must be a mind reader since you’re been just taking the words outta my mouth!
Since I’m one hell of an skeptic:
Even that I myself just signed up a couple of days ago only, I’m still as much puzzled as on the first moment I went over this agloco thing.
I’ve got my ass burned so many times, same as you, by fraudulent “earn extra cash - no risk” schemes (but was all the time told I have to pay a more or less small fee for setting-ups, memberschip, expanses and what so ever) and in the end I got nothing but an certain amount of new experience and knowledge and some bucks missing in my purse.
But, even that is something one couldn’t kick back at Agloco, since they don’t ask for even a damn nickle to pay to them for their service or what ever one could call it.
So, indeed, if this thing just pops like an soap bubble, one wouldn’t stay worse at the end than in the beginning, since I give a damn and a hoot whether I have some small bar running at one corner of my PC or not. And I don’t worry about spyware nor viruses since I have a quite good anto spy- and viruns software that wouldn’t let anything out wothout my explicit consent. And, the Agloco surf bar is not even entered into my firewall, so it could tahe nothing in nor out in the way of male ware.
This whole matter is to me at the time being worse than the book with the seven seals on.
So I guess, there is nothing much to do as just sit and wait and look - either it works by some kind of magic or it plops, in neither way I would have lost even a nickle. So whaqt the hell, let’s give it a chance as long as it wouldn’ hurt me.
20,000 AGLOCO Sign Ups!! wow!! I have none sign up so for because I haven’t start to promote it yet.
Steven
- i agree, but the problem is, agloco have not start paying anything to members yet, thats why its very hard to convince many peope to believe and join agloco. Until then, we will have to see.
i may well be wrong here, but my understanding is agloco makes money by people clicking on the ads on the agloco viewbar, now if nobody clicks on the ads, nobody earns; that means agloco members have to click on the ads on their own machine.
if that’s the case, it’s nothing but a scam
Agloco makes money by showcasing the products of advertisers through the Viewbar to all Agloco members that downloaded the Viewbar.
It is not a PPC system. Nobody need to click any ads, just using the sheer numbers of membership to draw out advertisers into the pool.
I posted on my blog about the ‘powerful’ advertisers behind agloco here: http://aglocomasses.blogspot.com/2007/07/know-advertisers-behind-agloco.html
If they want people looking at their ads, yet people turn off the viewbar after only 5 hours per month then what would advertisers be paying for?
well, it’s not good enough as no serious advertisers signing up
Just because you have to click on the ads to make money doesn´t mean its a scam. How does google make money? By you clicking on the ads… duh!
Cool, I just checked and now and I’m up to 8 in my network, last time I checked I had 3. And I haven’t even been promoting.
well, congrats
see, it’s not hard after all
hopefully, you’d make some money with it
So where’s the money?
Give it a little time, they just made the viewbar available.
According their company blog, you’re probably looking at another 6 months before you get paid. How many people will continue to turn on their viewbar for six months without being paid?
According to mt stats, my Network Activity Index was just under 12%. This month it looks to increase to 15% to 17%, which is a little lower than the AllAdvantage days. Once AGLOCO starts paying I don’t expect NAI to go much above 25% because that’s the way these types of system work (it’s the way most things work).
john, have you any idea how many have signed up with agloco?
Well you have to look at it like this…It takes up such a small footprint, and you were going to surf the web anyway. If it works out, cool. If not, you only lost like 3% of your screen space, and after it’s there for a while you probably ignore it anyway.
Good work Mr Chow! I’m sure your network will increase once they remove the link to their free blogspot.com blog on the AGLOCO homepage!
You gotta love a company with a blogspot blog!
hi cash quests, i don’t know which blog you saw, but they’re hosting their blog on their own server using the popular blogging platform Wordpress
Yes, but the link from the AGLOCO homepage points to a blogspot address. The blogspot address then points to the wordpress site.
What blogspot blog? AGLOCO’s blog is on their own dedicated server. http://blog.agloco.com/
that’s what i meant
thanks john
Kumiko, what is your take? Give them a break! You were until recently a queen of free blogspot.com LOL.
I’ve just broke the 20 mark
! Although most seem inactive AND my own hours don’t seem to add up (Has anyone else noticed the green/red status at the bottom right of the viewbar?) The few that have used it appear to have given up quick smartish but thats what you get for twisting the arms of friends.
Like John says though, it’s potential money for nothing, a few blog posts and an alternative downlaod page cost me minutes of my time. If it works great, if not then onto the next thing.
“It cost you nothing to join and the worst case scenario is you make money.”
Well, the worst case scenario is that you DON’T make money.
good point.
the worst scenario is that not only don’t you make money, you’ll also waste your valueable time
Great work John, You are great in MLM
It is easy when you get some referrals that are even better than you in referring.
What are the methods of payment they are giving?
I’m sure it’s posted on their site.
well coop search, there is no point worrying about that just yet
Risk to Reward ratio.
I think I will use my time testing other risky business.
Michael
just read agloco blog, people
then you’d know that you may never get paid for what you work hard for….with agloco
what if it’s spying on you….obviously it could
they know exactly where you’re, what you see on the internet….
scary thought?…hmmm…
You mean the worst case scenario being that you “won’t” make any money. Another down side are those bloggers who promote AGLOCO could face some scrutiny if AGLOCO doesn’t pull through.
[...] members. He won’t care if it doesn’t though, just by being a member he is getting a tremendous amount of traffic from them. Even if AGLOCO completely tanks and doesn’t pay out a cent, it won’t cost me [...]
Very Good!!
