2010 Affiliate Summit East – BlogUP Dot Com Pizza

On the last day of Affiliate Summit East, Clickbooth and I held a BlogUP Dot Com Pizza farewell get together at Famous Ray’s Pizza on Broadway. While I am not certain how famous Ray’s is, I do know that their New York pizzas are very tasty and very big. Normally, Ray’s doesn’t offer waiter service – you order the pizza and then eat it at any open table. However, for our group Ray’s sectioned off part of their restaurant for us and assigned us a server. That was pretty awesome of them to do that.

We had nearly two dozen ASE attendees show up for BlogUP Dot Com Pizza. Everyone had a great time networking with each other and enjoying the free pizzas, drinks and prizes. I want to thank Eric at Clickbooth for making all this possible. If you haven’t join Clickbooth yet, you should. They’re a great network and Eric has a great bunch of guys working with him.

      D3so,
Same here! I have never had a real NY Pizza. The pizza looks amazing. John’s blog always makes me hungry.
      Best,
      Ian

      1. I’d go for the vegetarian pizza. It looks absolutely loaded compared to the other ones.

      2. Same here again! I would love to try out those authentic, genuine NY Pizzas.

        1. Boy that vegetable pizza got the all attraction …

          1. Here we go again. Why does everything have to be so BIG? Is there a fine to pay for sharing here too?

          2. Like your sense of humour 🙂

      3. Mmmm…. nothing like a great big slice of NY pizza!

  2. Ray’s Pizza was amazing – thanks John & Eric. It was a fun evening, especially since you had such GREAT door prizes!

We actually have to thank Wade Tonkin and MakeBeer.net for the beer kit. It’s a long story of how it materialized at the party (sorry Wade), but Adrian Childers was thrilled to win it & is bringing mucho beer to the next Clickbooth/JohnChow Pizza Party!!!

  3. I had an absolute blast at BlogUp dot com pizza event John. Ate good and met great people. Look forward to brewing beet at home 🙂

It was great to see you again. We had a blast at the Apple store. LOL

      1. Hey Adrian … you were looking really composed and relaxed …

  4. correction beer… haha As you can see I’ve started brewing it already haha

    1. Brewing beet could be interesting. Beet beer may be a good one, give it a try.

      1. Beet Beer? Are you serious? SY

        1. It does sound gruesome doesn’t it but if you want weird beer go to Belgium – you will be amazed at what they make beer out of.

  5. Justin says:

Do you recommend this restaurant for their pizza or their meeting facility ? If you come to Montreal tell, there are a couple of great place for pizza meeting 🙂

    1. John Chow says:

It’s really not that great for a meetup. They don’t have a waiter to serve you unless you make prior arrangement.

      1. Why do you need a waiter for a meet-up, what is wrong with getting your own food and drink and then sit down to chat? SY

        1. Some one have to engage to manage everything …

What if beer ends or if someone wants water. So there must be someone who can handle these all things, so that chat and conversation can run smoothly.

  6. Wade Tonkin says:

Hey John, the folks at http://www.makebeer.net were happy to provide the Cooper’s Brewing Complete MicroBrew kit that you gave away.

More info on the affiliate program for them at http://makebeer.net/become-an-affiliate.asp

    See you at BlogWorld!

    Wade
