31 Days to Build a Better Blog Workbook

written by John Chow on May 28, 2009

Make money with YouTube

A while back, Darren Rowse at Problogger put on a month long series call 31 days to build a better blog. It was one of the best series on blogging for money ever created. Now, Darren has released the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog Workbook, a downloadable e-book designed to help you revitalize your blog by giving you 31 tasks that will turn your blog into the powerhouse you’ve always dreamed of.

The workbook uses a two pronged approach to teaching and is designed so that you come away from the challenge having not only learned how to build a dynamic blog but you’ll have actually done something with the knowledge. 31 Days to Build a Better Blog is for bloggers at different stages of their blogging including:

  • Those who have just started a blog but who don’t know what to do next
  • Those who have had a blog for a while but it’s stalled in its growth
  • Bloggers with bloggers block and lacking inspiration

This workbook is not designed for bloggers yet to start a blog (PreBloggers). It doesn’t cover setting up a blog. If that’s you check out the ProBlogger book which covers this aspect of blogging.

The cost of this valuable resource is only $19.95. That makes it almost an impulse purchase. Darren is one of the best known bloggers in the world. All of his works are top notch and his latest offering is no exception. If you want a better blog, you can have it in the next 31 days. Go get it.

that might seem like an impulse buy but its more of an investment in improving your blog and subsequently get a better ROI from your work….great idea worth looking at.

Is there a reason you made the same reply with two different names?

Its deals with how to build a better blog and has nothing to do with how to build better wealth out of it. but thats you know comes automatically if you are running a better blog.

Obviously if you want to be a better and successful blogger, you wouldn’t want to miss this.

Cam Birch May 29, 2009 at 8:36 am

Its not even always about becoming better. Sometimes its more about finding out what others think better is. Often I’m more curious about what others are doing then I am interested in becoming “better”.

I wonder if the term is coined as follows: preblogger, blogger and problogger. It would mean that probloggers have evolved away from blogging. That’s how to make money.

You mean postblogger? I’m sure the “pro” part means that he is a pro(fessional) blogger :)

I really don’t think that any particular e-book is going to make you any more successful. I believe that developing your own methods and running through trial and error is always going to be the best way to grow your blog.

Buying books similar to this, however, is a fantastic way to ignite ideas inside of your head. Putting your own spin on techniques already being used is a great way to do this.

I agree. Quite often what has worked well in the past is not a formula for what will work in the future. And then on top of that once information has gotten to the point that they are willing to give it away for $20 it isn’t necessarily as valuable except as a reference or confirmation.

I don’t think it will automatically make someone successful, but they can pick up good tips to use for their own blog. It all depends on how they go about it.

But however if some one is telling you that … this is the most hardest way than you should accept his/her experience.

In this manner you can save your good time.

I’m sure it’s worth the $19.95 price. Probably better than amything you find on ClickBank for 5 times the price.

Thanks for this post John and thanks everyone for your kind comments. I did try to keep this one affordable even though everyone kept advising me to whack a bigger price point on it. Hope it’s helpful for some!

Yep, it is easier to sell stuff if it can be associated with some brand. An information product that would be two times better than Darren’s workbook would sell considerably less if it had no brand at all.

One thing which really like about this book is the price. Although this book deserve to be at $100 but Darren put it within $20 so that every one can afford it and can get the benefit from this.

Really appreciated.
