I really doubt its rigged in any sense. A move like that may save them a chunk of change, but if exposed would kill 451. Bam. Dead.

I used to blog at 451Press. For six months of work, I received $1.25 in total. The people at 451Press are so hell bent on becoming the biggest, they have no clue how to be the best.

They don't do anything for their bloggers, to help them earn a decent pay or bring in great traffic or ad dollars. They only pay 40% of the revenue and for most of their writers 40% of nothing is nothing.

If 451Press wants to be successful they should stop concentrating on being the biggest and try to be the best. They need to help promote the blogs and they need to bring in more advertisers. After they get the traffic the comments will flow.

After this contest is over, things will go back to normal and no one will visit the 451Press blogs anymore.

If the readers from here went over there to enter the contest, it really would be tough to win! I hope they do have some kind of quality guidelines, because I see the potential for abuse. I wrote about something like this last month: The Other Side of Promotions
