7 Killer Tips For Optimizing Your YouTube Videos

written by John Chow on June 26, 2009

How to make $593 in less than one hour

I guess this is the week to post how to videos. This time, my buddy Gideon Shalwick from Become a Blogger has a video that shows you, step-by-step, how to optimize your YouTube videos to help you drive an insane amount of traffic back to your website.

Gideon has tried these exact same strategies on one of his own YouTube channels, and got like 67,400 views to it in just 8 short weeks. Gideon actually shows the same YouTube channel inside the video so this is first hand real-live experience and not theories off a text book.

This video is just one of X-Factor videos from the Become A Blogger Premium 2.0 course. Inside the program is a full range of X-Factor techniques for each different area of building a successful blog, plus the entire series of training videos on how to set up and optimize your blog, create powerful content, market your blog and of course, make money from the audience you build.

If you’re new to blogging, want to build a truly successful blog with traffic and income, and you like to learn via video, then don’t miss the opening of Become A Blogger Premium 2.0 on June 29th.

Hey John I thought you didn’t like YouTube anymore.

Ron Givens June 26, 2009 at 8:56 am

I am constantly probing YouTube for useful information about many different topics work related and non.

I have always found that when I find a reliable source, I almost immediately subscribe to their channel as well as check ALMOST DAILY for new content.

Because of this, these channels have my undivided attention for a small portion of the day, and I usually explore all blogs, sites and links associated.

One should certainly take advantage of this tool and learn from the social patterns of others.

Melody June 26, 2009 at 11:20 am

Notice how the tutorial is based on a channel unrelated to making money online or business blogs–my guess is because I highly doubt there will ever be any top youtubers specializing in mlm or anything related…like the annoying videos I see which keep popping up..

You make it big on youtube by either being funny, controversial, musical, good looking, or with certain niche tutorials. And if you can combine them…well you’re genius..

Re: good looking.. I’ll go further by saying sexy! Get the pic that shows in the caption of the video to show a sexy looking girl and watch the hits hit the roof..well that and a sexy title as well.

Great tips on the keywords for the video. Most people don’t really take the time to do it right. Either they keyword stuff, or they don’t even bother putting it in.
