7 Winning Strategies for Trading Forex Winner

How to make $593 in less than one hour

Winning Forex

Congrats goes out to Terra Andersen of Better For Business. Terra is the first winner of my latest book giveaway, 7 Winning Strategies for Trading Forex by Grace Cheng. Hopefully, Terra can use the book to really make things better for her business. Terra just needs to reply to my email and I’ll send the book out to her.

I want to thank everyone for entering my book contests. They are a lot of fun to do. Look for a new book contest real soon. I am not sure which one to give away next since I still have copies of Grace’s book and The 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss.

For those who can’t get enough contest action, I still have The Million Dollar Wiki contest going for this month. The contest gives you five entries and $10 off a page on The Million Dollar Wiki when you use the coupon code JohnChow. You can also get two entries when you blog about it. Read the full rules here.

How about give 2 books in one blog contest!

Terra Andersen September 2, 2007 at 9:42 pm

Thanks! I’m SO excited! I’ve NEVER won anything in my entire life! Sweeeet!

Yayyyyyyeeeee!

Steven September 2, 2007 at 9:48 pm

LOL I can relate to that. Now that’s an idea, two books in one blog contest. I like the sound of that.

SEO Optimization September 3, 2007 at 1:34 am

Congratulations Terra,
This time you won

Making The Money September 3, 2007 at 5:19 am

Congrats, it couldn’t have gone to a nicer commenter.

DeboHobo September 2, 2007 at 5:24 pm

Congrats Terra. Girl Power:)

MyBlogCotest September 2, 2007 at 9:00 pm

Some girl only blog contest in MyBlogContest.com you might like to join. For example, Free Ryka Shoes!, Win a $4,000 Gift Card of Jimmy Choo Shoes!, A Blog Contest 23 Winners!

Geedos September 3, 2007 at 12:04 am

A woman can never have enough shoes – especially Jimmy Choo shoes!

Steven September 3, 2007 at 12:07 am

The same can be said for some guys lol

Terra Andersen September 2, 2007 at 9:43 pm

Girl Power… that’s right!

Geedos September 3, 2007 at 6:40 pm

I don’t think I’ve heard that phrase since the Spice Girls!

Skiing at Home September 2, 2007 at 5:48 pm

CONGRATS!

YC September 2, 2007 at 5:56 pm

Congrats to the winner Terra!

Ryan Shamus September 2, 2007 at 6:11 pm

Grats Terra!

John – I vote for another 4 hour workweek contest…I want to get my hands on that book!

KingJacob September 2, 2007 at 6:34 pm

If you really want it, its only 10 bucks on amazon

Steven September 2, 2007 at 7:23 pm

I want the signed version, I have the non-signed version which I’d be glad to give away if I can get the signed one from John.

DeboHobo September 2, 2007 at 8:03 pm

I went and bought mine at B&N, because I wanted to put it into action immediately.

Steven September 2, 2007 at 8:31 pm

That’s where I got mine. However once you read the book, you’ll realize that you can’t exactly implement everything he says, and the whole outsourcing is a little more difficult because of price increases. While it is still a good read, don’t hold your breathe on getting great results out of it.

SEO Optimization September 3, 2007 at 3:26 am

So in other words Steve, you are saying that the book is one of those you can read during the trip in train (unless there is a good looking woman next to you to flirt with) and learn just a little bit but not to expect much?

MONEY BLUE BOOK September 2, 2007 at 6:11 pm

Congratulations on winning the book! So, when is the next big giveaway?
-Raymond

Geedos September 3, 2007 at 12:05 am

As much as everyone loves books you can’t beat the giant LCD / plasma screen giveaways on here! Bring on more of them I say!

bob cobb September 2, 2007 at 6:29 pm

Congrats! I won the 4 hour workweek book, but Im still waiting on it. Things can take a while to get across the border.

Steven September 2, 2007 at 8:29 pm

LOL it sure does.

Geedos September 3, 2007 at 12:07 am

That is a long time coming – is it really that bad with shipping things over the border?

And I thought the post was bad over here!

Steven September 3, 2007 at 12:49 am

It takes an extra few days if not over a week to get through customs sometimes. Afterall it’s considered international mail.

wolaile September 2, 2007 at 6:57 pm

Congrats!

Carl Zetterlund September 2, 2007 at 7:36 pm

Continuing on this string of….

Congrats!

Steven September 3, 2007 at 12:52 am

You’re right, you can’t

kimberlycun September 2, 2007 at 8:17 pm

congratulations!

Steven September 2, 2007 at 8:46 pm

How many copies of each book do you have left John?

Softsled September 2, 2007 at 8:50 pm

John,
A quick look in firebug shows that your #navigation div is what’s making the bottom scrollbar show up. For some reason it’s not taking the 998px width. It should be pretty easy to fix.

MyBlogCotest September 2, 2007 at 8:55 pm

Congrats Terra!

Come to MyBlogContest.com to find more blog contset you might interested.

Geedos September 3, 2007 at 6:43 pm

You should ask John if you can sponsor a contest on this site – shouldn’t be too hard to do and would get you a load of publicity and some more traffic – just a thought.

Click Input September 2, 2007 at 9:06 pm

Dang, I really wanted to win that one too. I hope she puts the book to good use!

Terra Andersen September 2, 2007 at 10:45 pm

I will DEFINTELY put the book to good use! I love investing and am currently delving into the forex market… couldn’t have come at a better time!

Geedos September 3, 2007 at 12:09 am

Will you be giving it away in your own contest once you’ve finished reading it? You should ask John to sign it before he sends it to you.

Steven September 3, 2007 at 12:53 am

I think John would have shipped it by now…

Steven September 2, 2007 at 11:15 pm

Yeah, let us know how it goes after you finish reading…

Geedos September 3, 2007 at 12:11 am

John – how much free stuff do you get given and how many more books do you have to give away? I’m keen!

The contests on this blog must drive some great traffic to the site.

Steven September 3, 2007 at 12:16 am

I asked him about how many books left in an earlier post and I think John hasn’t replied yet. But hey, free is good, I’m not complaining, I just want to win!

Chris Guthrie September 3, 2007 at 12:24 am

Congrats on winning the contest. Personally I’d be more interested in winning a copy of the four hour work week, but I’m sure this book is great too.

Geedos September 3, 2007 at 6:52 pm

You could always ask about swapping prizes if and when you win!

Bent September 3, 2007 at 6:55 am

Congrats Terra..nice book
