A Day In The Life of John Chow

Yesterday, I talked about the work life balance, and how my balance is tilted towards life, and away from work.

On today’s episode of Driving with John Chow, I want give an example of what a typical day is like for me. I explain how I actually do work. While I say I work an average of two hours a day, I don’t really sit down, work for two hours, and then stop. I believe in being efficient, and working that way is not efficient at all.

Enjoy the video, and keep your questions coming. It’s my number one source of new content for these videos.

  4. That’s an impressive blog post queue. I’m still live publishing at the moment, but I’ll work on getting ahead of schedule. It definitely seems like the smarter thing to do!

  5. Most people wouldn’t believe it if I told them this is what a typical
day is like living the Dot Com lifestyle.

They just cannot conceive their own lives being this way.

Most people still have the 500 YEAR OLD work mindset that you have to
WORK 12 hours a day for a boss with NO life, choice and flexibility.

    And that’s the status quo.

But here John you’re demonstrating that SYSTEMS combined with
having the FOCUS and consistency to make them work is what brings YOU
and so many others who work online the choice, flexibility and lifestyle we
    all want and desire.

Great insight once again into how to live life on your terms.

    Well done,

    Gavin

I love being able to get email from you john, but there are a few questions I wanted to ask you:
    1. I am very interested in internet marketing constraints exist on limited English ability, if I can succeed and how the solution?

    2. I want to start a successful internet marketing, what is stride?

    3. How do I minimize the cost budget but does not inhibit my ambition to become a successful internet marketing?

    Thank you very much

  10. John says:

Thanks for the ride. Have more kids. You are a good father.

We have 5 kids who gave us 35 grandkids, now 24 as we lost one, and 24 or so fast-coming great grandkids. Fun to have them around at times. I’m glad you are making money.

I’ve been retired for over 20 years fiddling around on the Internet. I use to make more money than I do now. I have found products to be best rather than affiliate programs which take my customers and never pay for back sales. I’m 83 years old. Still have enough money to take care of my wife who has ALZ with a full-time caregiver. Would like to add some security dough. John T. Jones, Ph.D.

  12. This is the life i like, no boss, no slavery, have a choice, have flexibility, and to be able to do this while on vacation, not done yet, i can sleep and make money, man this should have been around forty or so years ago.

  14. One of my favorite sayings that I’ve ever come across that is relevant to entrepreneurs and what they do doing the day is . . .

“Entrepreneurs don’t work well under pressure. It’s just that under pressure and deadlines, they actually work instead of mess around.”

You didn’t mention it in your video, but I imagine that even though you aren’t spending a lot of your hours of day doing business related stuff, that the hours you are “working” are actually spent “working”.

It’s very cool to see that your systems are stream lined to the point where you can maximum results from minimal time invested. Keep up the good work Chow!

  15. Hey John,

This is very cool! This is the internet lifestyle… just do what you want to do, and then when you want to work, you can do it as well… this flexibility makes life waaay better 🙂

One day, I will be like you 🙂

    Cheers,

    James
