Sounds interesting, but whats the catch?

John Chow July 13, 2008 at 10:39 am

It’s free to get in but you have to pay to get out. Actually, there is no catch. It’s a 100% free event to help users of Wordpress.

100% FREE?

Ok, cool! When can you book my flight and hotel. I’ll probably need a car rental too

Any chance we see some new tricks and tweeks on JohnChow.com when you get back?

I’m signed up and looking forward to the event. Great opportunity to learn from experienced bloggers and network with others at the same skill level as I am.

Having heard some of your traffic tips at DCP, I’m tempted to go but with gas prices the way it is, maybe not. Then again, I could shoot another version of this -

Please please please please inform if there is one in Toronto. I’m in highschool, so I can’t really leave the city yet.

You the man, John.

OMG. I just found one some info about WordPress WordCamp Toronto. Its on October 4th, $25 CAD tickets. So yeah, its unfair that its not free, but it won’t stop me

I wonder if there are any high profile bloggers in orange county. I’d like to go.

Bro Alex July 13, 2008 at 1:46 pm

I`d love to be there, but I`m some thousands of miles away, speaking of help, can anyone help me design my theme? Looking for some experts out there, willing to pay with PayPal , anyone interested can contact me at broalexinfo@gmail.com, I would appreciate to see some portfolios.

Thanks

There was one back in Nov 07. Darren Rowse from ProBlogger was one of the presenters. I’m not sure if anymore are planned for the future though.

Wordpress s no doubt number one but a bit complicated to use.

OC Golf Course July 14, 2008 at 1:59 pm

How can wordpress be hard to use? There are tons others that are so much more complicated to setup and install, let alone use!

Thorsten July 14, 2008 at 3:26 pm

WP is worth learning. You will not need another platform ever !

TYCP Entertainment Magazine July 14, 2008 at 8:37 pm

I think it’s pretty easy. All you have to do is read the Codex & you’re set for life.

Hosting Reviews July 14, 2008 at 12:38 pm

Wordpress is the least complicated to use

TYCP Entertainment Magazine July 14, 2008 at 8:39 pm

I agree. If anything, Typo has a huge learning curve.

Thorsten July 14, 2008 at 3:25 pm

This should be a great networking event…

Danny Dang July 15, 2008 at 11:24 pm
