If you build it, they will come. And they will click. And they will convert and buy and provide a never-ending supply of residual income for you. If only affiliate marketing were quite so simple. The truth of the matter is that you need to arm yourself with the right data so you can continue to optimize your campaigns and maximize your profit. So, how do you do that?
In today’s review, we’ll be taking a look at AdsBridge. It aims to provide comprehensive, cloud-based affiliate software that can tackle every aspect of your affiliate marketing efforts from building landing pages to tracking traffic.
An Affiliate Marketer’s Toolbox
You may recall when we took our first look at AdsBridge last year. At the time, it was being offered in open beta for free, but it has since graduated into a full launch, replete with features and tools that every affiliate marketer will want.
The goal here is to offer a “full cycle solution for affiliate marketers,” running through the entire process that you’ll need to get started, run, and optimize your affiliate marketing campaigns. The solution is 100% cloud hosted, so this means that you don’t need to install any software on your computer and you’re not tied down to any single location. All you need is a browser.
Among the key features are not only the ability to target the right traffic for the offers you wish to promote, but also to split-test and redirect that traffic for maximum revenue potential. There’s a built-in landing page creator, five global data centers for fast redirects, and an automatic optimization tool to eliminate the guesswork.
A Large and Expansive Dashboard
Not a lot has changed with the main dashboard since the last time we looked at AdsBridge. The main navigation is all located along the left sidebar and that’s where you’ll gain access to the wealth of tools.
The initial page displays an overview of all your campaigns, including top campaigns, top traffic sources, number of total visits, total conversions, total earnings, ROI percentage and so on. Of course, if you want to dig deeper into any of these statistics — and you likely will — you can always access the more robust reports through this tool too.
It can be easy to get overwhelmed with just how much you can do with AdsBridge, as several of the sections in the sidebar further expand into subsections. You’ll need to add your affiliate networks, traffic sources, offers, landing pages, domains and so on. Should you need any help at any time, try using the campaign wizard near the top or hit the happy face in the lower corner to chat with support, which is available Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm GMT. They say typical replies are in a few hours.
Optimizing All Your Campaigns
Essentially, the way that AdsBridge works is that you populate your account with all your variables — domains, networks, traffic sources, etc. — and the system can optimize your campaigns by redirecting traffic and split-testing, among other mechanisms.
This can take a considerable amount of time to get started, especially if you are running a large number of traffic sources, offers and so on. Each page to add each element is very straightforward and easy to understand. What you see above is the page to create an offer, for instance. Just rinse and repeat for everything you’re running.
Filtering Out the Bots
AdsBridge boasts many features. Some of these are automatic and some of these are manual. For instance, you likely don’t want to be paying for bot traffic, because that will never convert and you’re just throwing away your advertising budget.
Thankfully, AdsBridge has a bot filter. You can set it to detect proxies by default, filtering that traffic through to a particular URL. In addition, you can set as many specific redirect rules as you’d like, based on country, language, traffic type, IP address, ISP and more.
Creating Landing Pages
As mentioned in our earlier review, AdsBridge also comes with a very robust landing page creator. You can make one from scratch if you’d like or you can leverage the numerous templates to get started.
There are pre-made templates for practically every vertical and they all look very professional and ready to convert. Interestingly, you can also set your landing page to promote multiple offers if you’d like. This is another way that you can experiment with maximizing your profit potential.
AdsBridge offers a number of plan options to fit the budget of almost affiliate marketer.
After the 30-day free trial, monthly plans start as low as $25/month (when you bill annually) for the starter plan. I would recommend going up to at least the professional plan ($75/month when billed annually) as this unlocks one million visits each month, plus unlimited access to the landing page editor with ready-to-use templates. It’s also at that level that you get the automatic campaign optimization, which should quickly pay for itself.
