Since I’m in Las Vegas for Affiliate Dot Com, I figured I would use it to host Affiliate Dot Com Pho – LIVE! Edition. I invited all the Affiliate Dot Com Live! attendees and created the biggest Dot Com Pho in history! We had over 100 people spread out over a dozen tables. However, all the video was focused on the table I was at. I think you will enjoy this week’s episode because it features a brand cast and crew from a wide variety backgrounds, places and ages.
For the LIVE! Edition of Dot Com Pho, we have no noodles but sandwiches, how to get hypnotized, what happens if you get hypnotized, how to get into any conference or convention without paying, the gadget of the week and a whole lot more.
Meetup from Dot Com Pho Vancouver
Dot Com Pho happens every week on Saturday and everyone is welcome to attend. Follow me on Twitter to find the time and location of the next one.

One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch. Because of the technology barrier, many would-be bloggers never start their blogs...

Good one, Pho with sandwiches instead of noodles…that a good change though
Oh!! You also noticed it..
What so special about it to notice …
John mentioned himself and we saw the video as well.
Not the strangest of dot com phos. Remember when John had one at a health food fair in Seattle?
Yeah noticed that one, the way Sally told John its Yummy Daddy.
That was really cute.
You know big things are happening when you make it on John Chow’s blog.
Boy 9:36 minutes video.
This one is one of the longest video I saw at John’s blog.
Yes, but i remember once he shared a video of 40 min when he was called to do a presentation about “how he make $40000 from a blog”
Well that’s a different thing and dot com pho video of almost 10 minutes.
Thats great.
Yeah presentations are generally long and dot com phos are generally short.
Ah yes, good memory, I also remember that one
Hey, the longer the better, eh? To an extent at least
Doesn’t matter with these short of changes but changes with the number of peoples was a great deal and really it was the biggest pho ever.
Yeah, great way to celebrate the achievement in Vegas.
Nice lil wi-fi gadget.. does it have a place for a sim card so that you can use it on any network?
There’s no place for a SIM card. The MiFi is locked to whatever network that sells it.
Thats a good heck, kills competitions.
John will you please tell us in details … or I will have to check internet for more information.
I don’t think so. There is a device available here which lets you put in any sim card. Why get tied to just one service when you can have other options.. The ones with sim card facility would sell more IMO.
So true. Having options with the product you buy is always a good thing.
@ Harshad
Will you please tell us more about that product. As I want to set up wifi in my office, so that staff can work from any where.
I think you should think about the mic when there are so much noise around you.
He is in a casino not much you can do about noise there..
Yes saw radio and also noticed daylight on Casino (very very rare)
But however I think this set up should have the option of two mic like one should place near to the person with whom John talking and one with John himself
Yeah, probably need those mics or noice cancellation mics.
Yeah John should look at the other option available.
I am sure you will fix it whenever you will shoot in public or at noise bases surroundings.
That is sweet! Largest Dot Com Pho ever! Looks like it was a really great time.
Yeah, can imagine it was.
That lady dominated this dot com pho.
But its nice to see that all were taking active part in this dot com php.
Why don’t you use a ADSL wifi router?
As far as I can remember, you use BSNL Broadband
I really won’t recommend it for office use because 3G in India is not that great yet. For office, you can go for a DLink wireless router… it works well.
Sally is really adorable and active kid.
God bless her.
Instead of Dlink I prefer Linksys (by Cisco) they are more reliable and more strength.
Dlink simply capitalising the name in Asian countries.
