And I Thought I Was Evil

It takes a pretty evil mind to think up something like this. The show producers set up a “spa” at the top of a ski resort. However, as you’ll see in a moment, this is no ordinary spa! I got to hand it to some of these Japanese TV shows. They’re pretty evil. I wonder if I can set up this type of spa on Grouse Mountain. Enjoy the video.

Make it whistler instead of Grouse

    1. John Chow says:

I’m sure it will go over really well there! 😈

      1. Dax Desai says:

I wish I understood what they’re saying. That was hillarious! 😆

        1. Aris says:

They just simply telling people the steps those guys went thru, such as putting in the coin, count down started, nothing fancy.

          1. Marc says:

Yeah I didn’t figure they were contributing much in terms of commentary. The video alone pretty much spoke for itself.

          2. Michael Kwan says:

With clips like these, I don’t think it’s necessary to understand the language at all.

      2. hmtksteve says:

        Good old Japanese bethroom humor.

        1. Yea, the Japanese are real good at inventing and playing pranks on others. 😀 I wonder how long that took them to design.

          1. Marc says:

They are the best. There seems to be no fear of hurting people or getting sued. That always makes for the best pranks. Nothing better than physical humour, and it doesn’t get mush more physical than hurtling down a massive ski hill naked on a rocket propelled chair.

          2. Michael Kwan says:

If they tried the same stunt in the States, I’d expect some sort of lawsuit. It seems that it’s only Japanese game shows that can get away with things like this.

    2. Bryan Baker says:

Holy shit that was funny. The chair that shoots them down the mountain is the best.

      1. I loved the rockets!

  2. Bob Buskirk says:

    Thats great!! 😆

  3. Shawn Knight says:

Wow.. too bad you could never get away with anything like that in America, people would have lawsuits left and right!

    1. Jane May says:

Unless they sign their lives away before going into the spa. (release)

      1. Leftblank says:

Welcome to the United States of Suehappy America 😉

        1. hmtksteve says:

Does anyone else remember the old show Candid Camera?

          1. Candid Camera did nothing to expose people’s modesty, did they? Gosh, I wouldn’t have want to be in their shoes.

          2. Marc says:

I remember it, but that show was nothing compared to this!

          3. Michael Kwan says:

I remember that show. The one that stuck out in my mind was that they’d get an actor to show up and drink a cup of apple juice, except it was placed at a medical lab where the victim would think it was a urine sample.

    2. You are absolutely right. It’d be lawsuit-o-rama.

    3. It really is too bad, the show would be a hit!

  4. AskReaMaor says:

    Those Japs are CRAZY !
i used to have Funny movie site that was LOADED with those kind of movies.. the things they’ll do..

  5. Jane May says:

The last one was the best. Cup in face, towel flying everywhere and doing a bunny hop on a leather chair! NICE 😆

    1. Zach says:

I like the one where the guys towel gets stuck, and he’s trying to get it back

      1. Jane May says:

hahaha…yeah, that was a good one too!

  6. John Chow says:

To think they had to paid money into the machine for that! 😈

    1. Jane May says:

HAHAHA…Where do you find these clips? Do you have to be a certified evil blogger to subscribe?

      1. hmtksteve says:

These clips are everywhere, if you know where to look!

        1. Jane May says:

I guess my “evil” detective skills are lacking. That can be an area of improvement for me 😀

          1. He found it on my site! See the source link at the bottom?

          2. I first saw it here. I didn’t notice the source at first. Then when I went to Samanathon, it was there!

      2. Aris says:

Ask uncle Google, Jane. I put in “Japanese Prank Show” at Youtube and the first one on the list was this one.

YouTube – Plueballs.com Pick Of The WeekJapanese prank gameshow funny gaki no 05:33. From: alansblog Views: 104407 … Japanese Prank Show 04:28. From: billymagnum Views: 231461 …

But if you don’t have an evil mind, you wouldn’t think about this at the first place unless you accidentally stumble upon it when you go to Youtube. I thought John’s evil mind was the reason his found that video before all his readers here. 😈

        1. Aris says:

I mean I put “Japanese Prank Show” in Google.

        2. Jane May says:

hmmm, don’t know if I want to talk to anyone by the name Uncle Google 😛

    2. I wonder if they got their ‘Money back gauranteed’. I wonder how they closed the situation afterwards. I don’t think any of them would be letting it go so easily!

      1. Aris says:

I believe they got more than they put in. They probably got the free airplane tickets, and accommodations to attend the TV show etc. In that way, the producer wouldn’t be sued. Unless something change after the last 25 years, that was what I know about those type of prank shows in Japan.

      2. Jane May says:

What do you mean? Having your jewels exposed in a populated ski slope isn’t enjoyable??? 😛

        1. Marc says:

Exactly. Besides, if you can’t laugh at yourself in those situations, there’s just something wrong with you 😛

        2. If you think this video was funny, wait until you see what I have coming up this weekend!

Maybe John will link to me again!

          1. Michael Kwan says:

            I smell link bait!

          2. Jane May says:

Now that you put it out there, you set a pretty high standard for yourself. We better see something good saman!!! 😈

      3. Lyndonmaxwell – I’m not sure if the people in “our” part of the region can react like how the Japs in the clip did. 🙄

    3. So what will you do if you get into a similar prank?

  7. macgoo says:

Ha ha. I love evil Japanese TV shows!

  8. George C. says:

    Hi there! looks funny!

    1. Really funny! Made me laugh for a while! Saman said we can expect another one!

  9. Zaib Kaleem says:

This is reality TV at its best…

    1. Is this supposed to be a series? Wonder what the other vids are like?

  10. Albert says:

I think John Chow is more evil than that TV show 😕

    1. Jane May says:

Yeah, that’s a close one, but I still think there’s an evil community that get special perks 😈

      1. Yeah it does, great info and tons of linkbacks!

    2. hahahhaa Yea I think hes more evil than this 😈

  11. Leif Hearne says:

I stumbled across a news article today that made me think of you.

The headline? Convicted Japanese Dotcom Tycoon Defiant

For a second I thought it might be you, but I thought you were chinese…. 🙂

    1. hmtksteve says:

      John is not Japanese.

      1. Stephen says:

Yeah, they would never take him! Too Evil! 😈

        1. Also, the Clan of Evil would do what they could to stop them from taking our leader!!

      2. Jane May says:

        Have you DNA tested him???

  12. Luis Alberto says:

OMG, hahahaha… I laughed so hard, my dog came running to see what was happening… jajajaja… I’m sending it to some friends… 😎

    1. Marc says:

I had tears in my eyes by the end of the clip.

  13. Justin Slife says:

That was great…I know a couple people that deserve that kind of spa treatment. 😆

  14. That was HILARIOUS!! Haha 😈

  15. Evil must see TV. 😈 That was funny! 😆

  16. At first, I thought the language was going to prevent me from really enjoying it.

But, “evil” translates pretty well without words. 😉

  17. Walter Vos says:

    Totally freaking hilarious!

Though I feel bad for the little who saw his dad fly out of the building. I hope he’s not traumatised….

  18. That was plain wicked! Especially the second one – ‘rocket’ powered chair. 😀 I pity the guy that wasn’t wearing anything!

    1. Yeah, that’d definitely be rather embarrassing.

  19. Harry L says:

This is a good way to start off the week!

There was a similar one a few weeks ago ( possibly the same japanese tv show) where they set up pubic toilets. The only catch was that the toilet had a trick floor that would rise up through the roof when someone was in it. A person would be going to the bathroom and all of a sudden they would be out in the open air for everyone to see!

  20. Joseph.C says:

I guess there is a little evil in all of us.. 👿

    1. Mark Shead says:

I guess there aren’t as many lawsuits over there.

  21. Scott says:

“I wonder if I can set up this type of spa on Grouse Mountain.”

It would give new meaning to The Grouse Grind.

  22. Aris says:

Where is Grouse Mountain and how you get them to sign a release form? 😆

  23. Robert says:

    That was hilarious!

  24. HMTKSteve says:

You will always be the evil one to us 😉

    1. Jane May says:

      auh, that’s kinda sweet 😆

  25. Does anyone else have problems with embeded videos and wordpress. whenever i try to put one in the formatting of the page goes ape shit

  26. Shaun Carter says:

    Hey John,

That video made me laugh harder than I ever have… thank you so much! lol

    Shaun

  27. Dean says:

Yeah, you could never do that in America, we American’s would sue that show so quickly. Too bad though, I wish we had more shows that laughed at life like this.

    1. Alan Milford says:

Haha! Great find John, fantastic video to brighten up an otherwise dull Monday afternoon, and Dean is right, it’s a pity there aren’t more shows like this!

I will of course be looking twice at every seat next time I go skiing anywhere near Japan.

  28. Marc says:

I have to say at first I thought, oh no. Some silly video clip…

Then I say them being dumped backwards, got a chuckle and thought, “OK, I can watch this.”

Then came the rocket propelled chair…

Then the tears of laughter came…

  29. Xof says:

Those Japanese are craaaazey 😯 😆

  30. ilker says:

    Funny.. but seen it before!

  31. Zach says:

haha i love how crued they are to each other

  32. Zach says:

those people must have had to sign some sort of waiver.

    1. Michael Kwan says:

You would hope so. Something about not being responsible for malfunctioning machinery. 😆

    2. Mark Shead says:

So you think they knew what was going to happen and did it anyway? I’m pretty sure they hadn’t signed anything.

  33. Alan says:

That was great, I needed a good laugh. 🙂

Wow this would never fly in North America!!!!

  34. Nathan Drach says:

A good find from samons site. Man, nothing funnier than surprise public nudity!

  35. Mark Shead says:

So did they have to get permission from these people like they would need to do in the US?

  36. If I had to choose between the two “rides,” I’d go for the “quick escape.” LOL this clip is hilarious! 😆
