Are You Learning From The Right People?

On this episode of Driving with John Chow, I give you some updates on my YouTube channel.

I have never paid much attention to my YouTube channel. It was just a place for me to post my videos. However, the channel is now making about $500 a month from YouTube ads, so that got me thinking that maybe I should try to develop it more. Which leads to the question of this driving episode.

Who Do You Get Advice From?

It amazes me how many times people will take advice from people who are not qualified to give it. When I go looking for advice on how to increase the traffic to my YouTube videos, I’m going to seek out YouTubers that have done it. I’m not going to ask someone who doesn’t even have a YouTube account. Yet, you’ll be amazed at the amount of people who will.

Learn from the right people. The right people are the ones who have actually done what you want to do. Do not take advice from people who have not done it.

  1. I learned this through the years. A lot of people pretend to have answers when they really have no experience. It’s not to say anything bad but it’s a waste of time sometimes.

Thanks John for all your help on here!

I think a lot of people fake it till they make it in this game, if you are new you will only get a brief part of what you need to know.

Every successful man was once a beginner. Every one should need a mentor in this field. but unfortunately every one wants to earn money instead of becoming a good mentor. once again nice article by John… Thanks John

Learn from real people is more than having a Degree. However identifying false or
misleading information should be important thoroughly before making any learning decisions
