Yesterday I saw my cousin, who I used to babysit when she was just 4 years old, get married. It was a beautiful ceremony held at Queen Elizabeth Park. I love family weddings because it brings people together. Family members flew in from Toronto, New York, Hong Kong and China to attend.
The weather could not have been better. However, I have to admit, wearing a suit in the dead of summer isn’t my idea of fun. Sally had a great time with all the attention showered on her by out of town family members seeing her for the first time.
Irene, the bride, is the first child of my uncle’s family to get married. She is the oldest of four siblings. The ceremony lasted about an hour and was attended by 100 friends and family. There was another hour of taking pictures in the park. Then we went home to get ready for the evening reception, which would be attended by 320 people.
Here are some photos from the wedding. It was really hard to get good pictures because the sun was behind the bride and groom. I really need to take a photography course.

Because of the technology barrier, many would-be bloggers never start their blogs...
