Last night Blog World held their opening party at the Joint at the Hard Rock hotel. It was a good way for everyone to sit back, have a drink, eat some food and get to know each other. After all, the networking aspect is one of the big reasons why bloggers are here.

Since Blog World is only two days long, this is the only party that happens at Blog World. However, that didn’t stop Shoemoney from getting a big Hummer limo so we can hit a Vegas hot spot for an after party. Here are some more photos.

Me with Darrin Carter and Zac Johnzon. Zac is showing off his black Zac T shirt that will go into production soon. I can’t wait to get one.

Me with Wendy Piersall of eMoms at Home. Check out Wendy’s cool rabbit slippers.

Take one long Hummer limo, add a bunch of drunken bloggers and you know you’re in for a good time! Sorry, no pictures from the after party. This is a family friendly blog.

Hey Guys Looks like a good time. While your all there why don’t you show them the “Power of the Blog” and have everyone blog about some important social issue of our time like Stop the War or Save Our First Amendment Rights! This is your chance to change the world. Think about it!

Graham Lutz, The Young Capitalist November 9, 2007 at 1:28 pm

How about Stop Terrorism and the war will stop itself.

Poker Sharks November 9, 2007 at 1:16 pm

Jamie Harrop November 9, 2007 at 1:30 pm

Next year.. next year I vow to be there. As long as it’s after September, I’ll be 21 and good to drink you under the table, John. :D

Neil Duckett November 9, 2007 at 3:53 pm

Easy big fella, practice on root beer for another year.

Jamie Harrop November 9, 2007 at 4:02 pm

You forget us UK folk have drinking laws that make sense. I’ve been drinking legally for two hours, and illegally for a lot longer. :D

You’re Ausse born, Neil. How about a UK vs Oz drinking contest at Blog World Expo next year? American’s can’t enter. They don’t know what real beer is.

Jamie Harrop November 9, 2007 at 4:03 pm

Did I just say two hours… two freakin years I mean! Damn… I think I need some sleep.

Rhys November 9, 2007 at 4:56 pm

I’ll be with you! The aussies think they can drink…until they meet us brits ;)

Nabloid.com November 9, 2007 at 11:57 pm

I aggree, none of that watered down American “beer”. LOL

Chris Jacobson November 9, 2007 at 1:41 pm

James Wilcox November 9, 2007 at 2:10 pm

By then, my blog should have at least 10 RSS subscribers  so maybe I’ll show up and drink John and Jamie under the table.

Jamie Harrop November 9, 2007 at 2:19 pm
