That's a great wordpress theme! In fact I won a free membership for 1 month in bloggingtips, no doubt they have really great themes and I just grabbed all of them (4 wordpress themes).

Melvin - The price is obviously something I thought a lot about. I think that $49.95 is a fair price. The theme comes available in 10 colours, all of which can be changed via it's own options page. You can do a wide range of things from the options area like move the sidebar from the left to the right or split the sidebar into 2 columns.

From a business point of view, it just wasn't feasible to sell this theme for any less. The theme cost thousands to develop because of all the work which went on in the backend to make the theme easier to use for blogging novices.

Copy-Blogger - yes you can make it so that the theme has 2 columns.

It has the option for one or two sidebars, but I don't see anything about ad blocks on the demo page.

But that one theme do not give a professional look to your blog.

Stop spamming nofollows to your seo contest page. It's quite clear that the people who are gonna win are the ones with exact match domains and the guys who randomly spammed every different site imaginable.

It's not really my style either, but it's a pretty original theme... as a matter of fact it's the first time I see this theme so it's good to see a theme different from Thesis or UBT sometimes.

Well you guys are looking at this theme with professional eyes where as this one is specially made for personal blog.

WooThemes have some pretty awesome offerings too. They are worth checking out if you're in the market for a WordPress theme.

In other words, after I purchase this theme, I can make some tiny modifications and share it with everyone for free?

Actually no. Under the GPL license users are allowed to use the source code in the templates in another theme as long as they give credit to the original developer.

However the images, CSS and any other design work is not covered by the GPL license and cannot be used, distributed or sold.

That's a pretty nice theme. I need to get into theme development. Didn't know your daughter had a website. Does she actually write the posts?

I think it's either John or his wife who are writing Sally's post... But I'm not sure, she's probably writing the posts herself?

The "dauphin" spelling of dolphin kinda makes me wonder.....

Well, it depends if the theme helps you accomplish what you want to do. And actually, it looks diverse enough to use for different projects.

As long as we have the right to tweak the theme design in our way, I think it worth the price... THESIS and Ultimate Blogging Theme are my two favorite Wordpress themes though.

Yes certainly Thesis theme is leading one and more and more people is going towards this.
