BlogWorld Networking Party And Mixer

BlogWorld & New Media Expo opened last night with a networking party and mixer at 404NYC Restaurant. At first I thought the 404 was a play on the 404 page not found but it turned out to be the address of the place: 404 10th Ave.

The opening night mixer was co-hosted by New York Entrepreneurs Business Network and featured a book signing by Gary Vaynerchuk, Miss USA contestants, finger food, wine tasting and a bunch of companies trying to hock their wares. The only thing the party was missing was an open bar.

The party started off kinda slow but picked up as the evening went on. As networking events go, this one was pretty good. There was no music playing. Networking was the main thing. I got a chance to connect with a lot of old friends and meet up with a bunch of new ones.
