BlueFur Monster Blog Hosting Deal
When BlueFur offered to sponsored TTZ Media’s affiliate contest they set up a special hosting deal to go with it. I didn’t pay much attention to the deal until now. Holy Crap! It’s a great deal!
1 Year Blog Hosting for only $10
For those looking for a reason to leave Blogspot.com or any other free hosting service, this plan is for you. For only $10, BlueFur will set you up with your own Wordpress blog plus help install any Plugin-ins you need and host it for one full year.
You want to start a blog but web hosts seem to make it so difficult to install the software, make your own theme, add plug-ins and upgrade it without loosing all your posts. These are very legitimate concerns and our managed blog hosting addresses all of them. Our managed blog hosting may cost a bit more then our standard hosting but the ’services’ you are provided with quickly make it worth it. Right from the start your account will be setup with the latest version of WordPress. We will help you with adding the plug-ins to your blog that you want and co-ordinate with you when new upgrades come out. For new customers that sign-up in December take advantage of our Holiday Managed Blog Hosting Blow-Out.
This deal is limited to the first 200 people who order. After that it goes back to its normal price of $14.95 per month. On top of all this, you will get five entries into the TTZ Media contest. If I didn’t have nine servers with BlueFur, I would order this plan myself! Seriously, if you’re on a free service like Blogspot.com, you need to get off. You will never be a serious money making blog on a free service. You also can’t apply to TTZ Media with a free site.
Because the price is so low, the JohnChowRocks coupon code does not work for this deal. $10 for one full year of blog webhosting. If you can’t make that back in a year, then you should stay on Blogspot!

Great deal, one of the best I have seen in a while. If I didnt already have a dedicated server, I would be all over this!
Reply to this commentAgreed. Hell of a deal. I’ll definitely be promoting it. Now if I could find the affiliate program..
Reply to this commentyea same.. this came too late
oh well.. I’m sure bluefur will have more deals later.
Reply to this comment$14.95 is nothing great normally per month, hostgator is like $7
Reply to this comment$14,95 is the regular price, the current “deal” is $10 for one year (at least thats how the headline states).
Reply to this commentHostGator? …Have you read my post
Reply to this commentAbuse HostGator
I’d simply stay away from shared hosts, they are all unreliable in my opinion if you start getting more than 500 visitors per day…
Reply to this commentI am on a shared host and I get over 500 visitors a day. I did not have any uptime problems with them so far. I think the point is that the more popular shared hosts are the unreliable ones, because they have much more websites per computer, so they take on a bigger load.
Reply to this commentI am sure bluefur is much better than hostgator.
Reply to this commenttrue that!
Reply to this commenthi, i also do not have a dedicated server i will have to work on that to maximize the opportunity avaliable.
Reply to this commentAwesome deal! Great deal for the newbies to blogging
Reply to this commentthat is a very good deal indeed
Reply to this commentGreat deal!!
Reply to this commentThats a great deal! Does the price stay at $10 for unlimited time or limited time?
Reply to this commentIt’s $10 for one full year of hosting. After that, it goes back to the normal price.
Reply to this commentHey John. Now that you’ve fully launched your TTZ media ads, are you going to post monthly income recap separately for that too (for the full amount and not just what you get from hosting it on this blog) =]
Reply to this commentTTZ is separate from the blog and will not be included in the income recap.
Reply to this commentThat is ridiculously cheap! I spend 900 per month for hosting
Reply to this commentstill an awesome deal as far as im concerned!
Reply to this commentAd actually wonder, if with that deal we can host any type of site or just blog ?
Reply to this commentYou can host any site but the account comes installed with a blog and management is only provided on the blog.
Reply to this commentThis is a bit confusing, can you explain, management is only provided on the blog? I think I will rather contact you via email. I have a site I would rather move to a new host and this seems as a great opportunity. I’ll write with subject Attn: Gary
Reply to this commentwhat is up with the flower thing? is this deal only for US and canada customer only?
Reply to this commentIt’s available to anyone who can pay $10.
Reply to this commentI wonder if it’s still available.. or if they sold out already..
Reply to this commentNot sold out yet.
Reply to this commentThat is a great deal. If I didn’t already have a plan, I would jump on it. I have to echo John’s sentiment. Having had a blog on blogger and now having my own blog, the difference is night and day. You can do so much if you control your own blog.
Reply to this commentThat is a crazy deal! I might just take this offer since I am currently using wordpress.com!
Reply to this commentMake the move. You’ll be glad you did.
Reply to this commentThat is an incredible deal! If I didn’t have my blogs hosted with Dreamhost (they suck) I’d jump on it.
Reply to this commentThe move! What are you waiting for? You have a great deal staring in your face and a incredibly bad webhost now. I moved from Dreamhost a little over a year ago and it’s been the smartest move of my webmastering career.
Reply to this commentJohnChowRocks worked for me when I placed my order in this morning.
Reply to this commentis a wp theme included in the deal? just wondering, as there is no mention. its a great deal, no less.
Reply to this commentWe will install a free theme for you if wish.
The Basic Blog does not come with a custom theme.
Reply to this commentI’m using BlueFur hosting.
Reply to this commentI would join this deal, but for free hosting…there’s one hosting company that is giving 6 months of free hosting :). Of course I’m not going to post it here and ruin BlueFur.

Reply to this commentThat’s a pretty sweet deal!
Reply to this commentI will have to jump into it i guess…
Reply to this commentWow that’s a pretty good deal…oh well I’ve already got a good thing going with my current host provider though
Reply to this commentHow’s Blue Fur’s uptime….many providers guarantee 99% uptime but rarely deliver
Reply to this commentJohnchow.com is up quite a bit!
Reply to this commentJohn…You recommended moneymakers list does not show TTZ media at the top(as one would expect) and is only listed op top of “More moneymakers” list…
Reply to this commentI’ve nevery tried BlueFur so I don’t know how it works. Anyone has ever used this?
Reply to this commentsounds like a great deal, i’m not too happy with my current hosting services.
Reply to this commentI guess, I am too late. I went to Bluefur’s site and tried to get this plan but somewhere in the process of buying it, the site lead me to their other plans. I think they’ve got their first 200 people already…or???
Reply to this commentnope…if u give your domain name,it goes through…
Reply to this commentHow many people have joined?
Reply to this commentYes I am in…Just bought http://www.techblissonline.com from godaddy and the hosting services from bluefur…
Reply to this comment$10 is a great deal. If only I dont’ have a hosting already
I never knew the regular price was $14.95 though!!!
Reply to this commentI don’t believe this, Just two days back I have hosted my new site on another web host.
Reply to this commentJohn couldn’t you get this deal 2 days back !!
Just some ramblings:
.
I passed BlueFur’s Sales Division as they answer my questions and so i decided to buy one blog hosting plan. Now the painful parts; (1) already paid for the service, and (2) working with the support staffs
Anyway, why sales staffs always answer emails (before you decided to pay) faster than support staffs? If sales is done, then that’s it, now go work with support staff and they suck. Now if you already pay, then you suck too. Go away, i’m trying to make another sales. That is one hell of cool customer service strategy.
By the way, i’m sorry i forget introducing myself. Thanks John.

Wow!, $10 for one year, pretty great deal…
Reply to this commentNice Deal,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Reply to this commentsee the bottom of your blog recomended money maker: you are saying ” Learn how I went from Zero to over $12,000 a month by blogging” now thats a old story, now you are earning up for US$ 22K per month, ain’t you. correct that figure please.
Reply to this commentI am sure you will see a ton of conversions on that offer (well, 200 at least). Great price. If you have been thinking about starting your first site I say go for it.
Reply to this commentReally good deal, i would recommend everyone this offer too
Reply to this commentGreat deal alright, you don{t get much for 10 bucks these days bit this is an exception !
Reply to this commentGreat deal i have to say. Well, i am too mean to saved my $10 buck for Christmas. Not to good for me these days
Reply to this commentThe problem with great deals usually is that they always come when you are already on to something else. Till the current period of validity runs out with existing hosts, I am afraid, great deal or not, it will have to wait.
Reply to this commentThat is indeed a great deal!
Reply to this commentHi John, what would you possibly do with 9 servers? My assumption is that johnchow just takes one server to run.
Reply to this commentOne server powers JohnChow.com, eight powers TTZ.
Reply to this commentThis blog is a huge success. Keep up the work.
Reply to this commentJohn, i think you ignore my last comment, but thanks for that. BlueFur hosting works, they didn’t help me (or they are just slower than GoDaddy and i don’t ‘wait’) but now I am jumping in into Wordpress and i am super excited.
Thanks for the great deal John. You rock!
Reply to this commentThis sounds like a very good deal. It makes more sense, long term, to purchase your own hosting accounts versus going through a free service, since it give you more control.
Reply to this commentWell anything else is better than Hostmonster..
Reply to this commentgood deal
Reply to this commentHow does BlueFur stack up to say ASO?
Reply to this comment$10 is a great deal, but even $14.95 (normal price) is a good deal for a full year.
Reply to this commentI took the plunge. SavvyFrugality.com was hosted on Blogspot, but I just purchased the $10 deal at BlueFur. It was just too good to pass up. I’m looking forward to making the switch and finally using Word Press for my blog. I got a message that says it take up to 24 hours to get my welcome email, so the only thing to do at this point is wait.
Reply to this commentWould you recommend I leave Blogspot even if I am only blogging for fun?
Reply to this commentIf it’s only for $10/year, then definitily yeah. Its a very good deal, plus you’ll feel cooler with your own domain (I think that has to be purchased separately, but it’s still very cheap).
Reply to this commentGreat deal indeed
Thank you BlueFur.com!
Reply to this comment10 bucks a year. damnnn.
Reply to this commentWas about to buy the plan then decided to check there review on google found http://hostjury.com/reviews/BlueFur
Reply to this commentThanks John! My current host looks better.
I did a search for all of the customers names that posted those libel statements and none of them appear as customers that have ever had hosting with us.
I am sure that with 6000+ customers were bound to have people that aren’t happy.
Here is a list of people that are happy and posted reviews:
http://www.webhostingunleashed.com/bluefur/
Reply to this commentGary,
As the owner & operator of HostJury I find that a tad unbelievable. Based on the whois records a number of them (if not all) have hosted with you in the past.
If you have any discrepancies you would like to discuss please contact me at feedback@hostjury.com
Reply to this commentThe whois of what domains? Your site does not show any domains. It shows people with Fake names with libel remarks with no ability to reply or remove them if they are not in fact real.
I also don’t think you and your site has received favourable reviews:
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=651317&highlight=hostjury
Not to mention the fact that you own a competitor hosting company who would benefit from unfavourable fake reviews. Why anyone should trust your site is beyond me.
Reply to this commentGary,
I actually have an awful lot more to gain from all of the companies on my site having positive reviews. Affiliate programs pay much more than my own clients do.
The whois ‘history’ for each of those users’ reviews show they’re legitimate clients. Sadly, it appears your users (one of which is still hosted with you based on the DNS I see) chose to not display them to the public when posting the reviews.
I’m not asking anyone to trust me, I’m just stating the reviews on that page are legitimate & audited to ensure their legitimacy.
Reply to this commentYou benefit from having web hosts that pay $100+ affiliate fees per sign-up. If all the other hosts on your sites have negative reviews then of course people will use your positive reviewed affiliate hosts.
Look at your Top 3 US hosts. They all pay very high affiliate fees but have next to no bad reviews. I can do a quick search and find 100’s and 100’s of bad reviews of those hosts. Mysteriously they are not listed on your site.
I can not trust any review of a person that does not provide proof they were using our service. I notice you also danced around the fact that there is no way to reply or remove any fake reviews.
“I’m not asking anyone to trust me, I’m just stating the reviews on that page are legitimate & audited to ensure their legitimacy.”
To know that the are legitimate we would actually have to trust you which your not asking anyone to do (and which I don’t).
