CES 2008 - Digital Experience
written by John Chow on January 8th, 2008
Digital Experience is a press only event put on by Pepcom. It’s a great way to meet companies and talk directly with their PR contacts. The problem with the CES show floor is you end up talking to the wrong person most of the time or the PR people are not at the booth.
Media only events like Digital Experience bring press and company PR together for one night of food, drink and networking. I get lots of work (if you call this work) done at Digital Experience because many of the companies I deal with are here.
To give you an idea on what kind of experience Digital Experience is, I’ve put together this little video. Enjoy, and try not to hate me too much.

Reply to this commentWhen you were at the M&Ms table there was a guy in a white shirt in the background looking at you like, “WTF is that guy doing?” lol.
Nice football kick too, but it would have been more entertaining had you kicked it into the crowd instead.

Reply to this commentMaybe the company making the USB modem should give one to you John and let you give it away on your blog. Now that would generate some publicity and traffic.

Reply to this commentJohn….that was the single best piece of CES coverage I’ve seen yet.
Reply to this commentThanks for coming by the booth. -M
uhm, isn’t it a press conference made for meeting new people and eventually closing some business deals? i guess the organizers of such an event would kick you immediatelly out if they had seen what you did there…
Reply to this commentIf you think that’s the reason for a press conference, then you’re in for a wide eye experience. Beside, Digital Experience is a press party, not a press conference.
Reply to this commentYou really like to eat a lot. :))
Reply to this commentHere’s a gallery of 62 pics from the event. Enjoy!
