CES 2012 – The Ultimate Workstation

written by John Chow on January 12, 2012

How to make $593 in less than one hour

If you want to make your workstation the envy of your peers, then the Emperor 1510 by MWE Labs will do it for you. The station holds up to three 24″ monitors and retails for $6,300. With the signature Emperor scorpion shape and outline, a highly stable steel structure, tilting capabilities, integrated audio system, LED lighting and more, the Emperor 1510 is the ultimate workstation.

The Emperor offers functionalities that enable you to experience unprecedented comfort and quasi total immersion through strategically positioned monitors, audio system and accessories. The result is a complete computer office, ergonomically optimized, with a minimal footprint that improves overall performance and productivity. And productive you will be because getting out of the Emperor requires tilting the monitors out of the way, tilting your seat back to upright, and sliding the keyboard away from you. This is a process that is so tiresome that you might as well stay where you are and keep working.

I need to get me one of those, maybe two. My desk chair is comfortable but not that comfortable. A messager would be a nice added feature.

Awesome design! Totally worth it for all the things we do online these days.
