Christmas Gift From Google

written by John Chow on December 15, 2006

Get Traffic To Your Site!

The UPS man dropped off a nice big package today. Inside was a Thank You card from Google and a laptop bag. This is not the standard Christmas gift Google is sending to AdSense publishers. This gift came from the Google Display Advertising Network. I am still waiting for my AdSense gift, which I hear is a picture frame.

The Google branded laptop bag was made by Gateway CDI, a supplier of promotional products for the major Fortune 500 companies. The bag is big enough to swallow my 17″ Dell XPS wide screen notebook. There are also additional pockets to hold a calculator, cellphone, keys and whatever other stuff that goes into a laptop bag. I guess I’ll be taking this bag with me to the 2007 CES. I’m sure Google will like that.

Wow!! I never knew that Google gave out gifts.. I guess I need a bit more traffic to my site!

Congratulations for this cool christmas gift. It has high hookable potentials!

Wow. Pretty impressive. Guess they weren't upset that you disclosed about the Display Advertising Network.

I need to get more traffic so I can earn more money to get these cute gifts too lol.

Damn. How much money do you have to earn to get on G's Christmas list? I made 32K this year and *I* didn't get a gift. :-\

I looked at the pictures first and my impression was: HOLLY SHIT! Google sent him a laptop, with his website's logo, too!

Nice gift John,

NICE! Freebies are nice. The picture frame that was posted on the web a while back sounds pretty cool. Maybe you can swing some sort of deal since you're John Chow.
