Computex 2007 – Thanks For The Memory

written by John Chow on June 10th, 2007

Today is our last day at Computex Taipei. We will be flying home on Sunday night at 11:50PM and landing in Vancouver on Sunday night at 7:30PM. Yes, we will be landing at a time earlier than when we took off. Who said time travel was impossible?

Today, we will be doing some site seeing before heading to the airport later tonight. We had a great week at Computex Taipei and came away with a lot of fine memory. If you don’t believe me, check out these photos to see just how fine the memory were. It’s going to be fun getting all this free stuff through customs.

Unfortunately, all 474 USB drives in that bottle were empty shells. There was no memory in it.

  6. So John, are you going to give away some of that RAM?

  7. John with the bucket of empty USB drive cases made me laugh. Good to see all this serious work hasn’t dented your sense of humour.

  8. The look on your face while mocking up that theft was slightly amusing.

It’s not the first time you have put that face on have you John?

  21. I smell another evil contest coming!

  22. lol wow… that’s a lot of memory! how much is all of that worth?

  23. John: sell them on ebay.com and just give one or two to your readers. Don’t give all of them. give one is enough. Be evil

  24. john… everyone needs ram man.. why not pull a contest and give away 2000$ worth ram..

and guy John is too evil.. he churns out money more than he would actually get from ebay..
    Smart thinker..

  25. John, you home yet? Hope you had a smooth trip back (no problems at the airport this time).

  26. That middle picture reminds me of the last thing the lobster saw… John’s got that “I’m about to eat you” look in his eye here too.

  27. Hey John, so when are you going to start giving them free to your readers ?

    When is you next competitition

  28. I would like to know how did you bring them through Canadian customs? Did you have to pay? They were freaking out when i got only 25 DVD.

    Kelly
