Computex 2007 – Thanks For The Memory

written by John Chow on June 10, 2007

How to make $593 in less than one hour

Today is our last day at Computex Taipei. We will be flying home on Sunday night at 11:50PM and landing in Vancouver on Sunday night at 7:30PM. Yes, we will be landing at a time earlier than when we took off. Who said time travel was impossible?

Today, we will be doing some site seeing before heading to the airport later tonight. We had a great week at Computex Taipei and came away with a lot of fine memory. If you don’t believe me, check out these photos to see just how fine the memory were. It’s going to be fun getting all this free stuff through customs.

Unfortunately, all 474 USB drives in that bottle were empty shells. There was no memory in it.

Wasn’t that the purpose of the trip? To get free stuff for us? John is such a kind person!

ian June 10, 2007 at 12:45 am

and may I suggest that the competition for a free usb flash drive should go something like this. First person to make a comment on this thread gets a free flash usb drive. (non hollow one)

TextAdSearch June 10, 2007 at 4:49 am

John with the bucket of empty USB drive cases made me laugh. Good to see all this serious work hasn’t dented your sense of humour.
