
Today we checked out the new Nangang convention center at Computex. For 2008, Computex is spread across two convention centers, like CES. However, the centers are pretty far apart from each other. The new center is very nice and much better looking and functional than the old one.
Most of the big name companies moved to the new center, leaving mostly smaller companies in the old one. I’m pretty sure with some better planning, it would be possible to get everyone into the Nangang since only two of the five floors were being used for displays. The one upside is less crowding on the show floor because people are spread across the two convention centers.
We had a fun time walking the floor and checking out all the cool tech toys. Here are some of the highlights. Look for more later.
