Computex Blast From The Past
I’ll be heading to Taipei next week for the yearly Computex trade show. Of all the trade shows I attend, Computex is by far the most fun. To give you an idea on what kind of fun one can except at such an event, I thought it would be cool to take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of the events from last year’s Computex. For most of you, this will be completely new because the blog wasn’t big time back then. Also, I highly doubt many new readers visit the archives so doing these “blast from the past” posts is a neat way to create new content.
Are We In A Plane Or The Taipei 101?
Taipei is home to the world’s tallest building. This photo was taken from the 84th floor during a reception with Intel. The Taipei 101 got its name, not just because it has 101 floors, but because it required 101% effort to build it.
Stephen The Party Animal
This will be Stephen Fung’s second year at Computex. Hopefully, he’ll be able to pace his drinking this year. Otherwise, he may end up dancing on the bar with some guy again.

I’m Sure There’ll Be More Videos Like These
The Pre-Computex Bash

The Pre-Computex Bash will be held on June 4th. If you run a tech site and want to hang out with other crazy tech site owners, give me a shout and I’ll tell you the time and location.

I’m sure there will be more pictures of John disrespecting scooters and chucking garbage at them. You may think that John has an unlimited supply of evil, but that’s definitely not the case Evil eventually wipes itself out

Reply to this commentThose are some fancy-looking drinks. You know, my old man actually invented the first drink like that, the B-52, when he was head bartender at this place called Maxwell’s Plum in either the late 1970’s or early 1980’s.
Reply to this commentMan, they still look good. And so does that beer.
Reply to this commentCheers for drinking Hoegaarden, I didn’t expect to see you guys dirnking something Dutch at all, props. I must say you sing pretty well too
