Vancouver’s most delicious, exciting and anticipated restaurant promotion is back again! Dine Out Vancouver 2006, Presented by Visa offers diners a record number of restaurant choices at three great price points over 14 days. From January 20 to February 2, food lovers will have the opportunity to sample an impressive assortment of menu choices from the 144 participating restaurants. The $15, $25 or $35 (exclusive of tax, gratuity and alcohol of course) three-course prix fixe menus, and their suggested BC VQA wine pairings are now available at www.tourismvancouver.com.

The restaurant promotion, now in its fourth consecutive year, represents amazing variety and value at restaurants all across the city. This year’s line up includes many of Vancouver’s finest restaurants, stylish new dining rooms, hip wine bars, brew pubs, eclectic cafes and some of the best ethnic fare from around the globe, served up in neighbourhoods all over the city. This is a good time for all you cheap asses to look good because you’re taking your dates to a restaurant that normally charges a lot more than the dine out prices.

Diners wanting to extend the party and take advantage of their dates can spend the night at a selection of top hotels offering low rates and packages that include one-night’s accommodation, a Dine Out Vancouver dinner for two in the hotel’s dining room, and other value-added amenities such as welcome gifts, breakfast, a complimentary bottle of wine, and parking. Packages are available from $225 per night and participating hotels include the Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites, Comfort Inn Downtown, Delta Vancouver Suites, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Holiday Inn and Suites Vancouver Downtown, the Pacific Palisades Hotel, Plaza 500 Hotel, the Sutton Place Hotel and the Wedgewood Hotel.

Most of the top restaurants like Lumiere and Gotham are already sold out, but there’s a still a big list to choose from. If you’re ever looking for a reason to dine out on the town, this is the time to do it.

Interesting topic… I’m working in this industry myself and I don’t agree about this in 100%, but I added your page to my bookmarks and hope to see more interesting articles in the future
