Dot Com Pho – 1 Guy To 1 Girl Edition
This week’s Dot Com Pho achieved a couple of firsts. For the first time ever, Ed Lau was the first one to show up. We thought that was amazing but it was eclipsed by the achievement of a one guy to one girl attendance ratio! Whoever heard of a dot com meet up where there are just as many girls as guys?
We decided to go to Pho Thai Hoa this week because Ed really like the subs there. However, he never ordered one. The location is central for everyone so we may hold more Pho meet ups there in the future. All attendees got a copy of Broke: The New America Dream. For the 1 guy, 1 girl edition of Dot Com Pho, we have Ed’s tip on being a lazy ass, Pho menu #29, beautiful girls and the return of the Twitter shout outs.

When I heard John tweet out about the 1:1 ratio, I thought he was including Sally and Sarah. Haha.
On a side note, I think John should get some of those ESL lessons.
And start making the income you make for having perfect English?
I never said perfect English makes money. Guys like the Sedins (at least earlier in their career) can attest to that.
Another way of thinking about it: There are a lot of people who are in great physical shape who are far from wealthy and there are a lot of really rich guys who are very out of shape. The rich guy is making more money than the poor guy, but that doesn’t mean that the rich guy shouldn’t try to be healthier.

It is nice when the girls come out to play, isn’t it just! Sadly women are still emancipated in many ways, so I find it refreshing to have equal numbers of girls and boys attending events such as these. Go Girl Power!

Sounds like fun, I really should pop in sometime except my wife and I had a baby last week and I am sleep deprived. I could have had some Pho at three in the morning last night I was so hungry.
