Dot Com Pho – Codename: SIMPLE Edition

Toady’s Dot Com Pho marked an extremely rare event: we actually had more girls than guys showed up! As far as I recall, this has never happened for the Seattle Pho meetup. Hopefully, we’ll keep getting more girls than guys in the future. Anyone is welcome to join us for Dot Com Pho. Follow me on Twitter to find the time and location of the next one.

For this edition of the Dot Com pho, we are introducing Codename: SIMPLE. This is a special event I’m holding on July 28 with Brandon Na and a few other top social media experts. In addition to the SIMPLE, this episode features shrimps. A lot of shrimps. Enjoy!

I want that shrimp so bad it hurts me. Sounds like an awesome event – too bad I’m on the opposite side of the country.

Does anyone know of anything like this happening in the southeast?

    1. David Taylor says:

      Hey Graham,

You think that’s bad? Try being on the other side of the world!

We have some great events in the UK but it would be even better to get to the US once in a while, and I would love to see Seattle.
And yes, the shrimp looks great1

      All the best,

      1. Yes distance are the main reasons.

Did I hear fishballs? I once had shrimpball soup when my wife worked as a hostess at a Chinese restaurant in Amarillo, TX. Her boss invited us for a New Year’s celebration after the restaurant closed. I’ve never had shrimpball soup since.

  7. David Hodge says:

The food looks fantastic, especially the shrimps with the mayo — it pops.

It’s great to see you’ll be coming to my neck of the woods, and yes, Seattle does have great summers … some of the best in the country. On these beautiful days, the temperature is in the upper 70’s, the skies are crystal clear and blue, and the air is fresh …. and there is an evergreen forest all around … punctuating why Seattle is “The Emerald City.”

You’ll also notice a a high-concentration of smart people with a passion for more from life, and it’s another Entrepreneurial hot spot with brilliant fire starters making things happen … and tons of technology innovations integrated into everyday life.

Oh yeah, and if you like coffee or beer, then this Eddie Bauer stomping ground will be right up your alley.
