After a week in Vancouver, I’m back in sunny California for this week’s Dot Com Pho Orange County. We once again met at Pho Bac in Irvine to eat Pho in the outdoor patio (don’t try that in Vancouver in December unless you want to freeze body parts) and chat about the week’s Internet happenings. After Pho, I headed over to the City of Industry to watch Dave do the Eliminator Challenge at the Speed Zone. The Eliminator Burger is made with 100% pure beef patties, with cheese, stacked six-high. Speed Zone refused to tell me how many calories the burger had, but I imagine it’s in the thousands.
If you eat it all, they give you a free ride pass (good for three races) on the Top Eliminator Dragster. The burger cost $19.99. Three races on the Top Eliminator cost $15. If you win the challenge, you basically get a huge burger and three drag races for only $4.99! It’s a great deal….If you can win.
