Dot Com Pho – Everybody Is Late Edition

written by John Chow on May 8, 2010

Make Money!

Michael Kwan made his return to Dot Com Pho and everyone (including Kwan) showed up late. The only people who showed up on time were myself, Josh Rimer and Mike Zahora, who rode his motorcycle all the way from Whistler to Vancouver (a two ride!) to join us for the Pho meet up.

With Kwan back in town, I am able to offer our book, Make Money Online: Roadmap of a Dot Com Mogul, signed by both Michael and me. If you want to own the first double signed copy, just reply to this post. I’ll draw the winner at next week’s Dot Com Pho. Good luck and enjoy this episode.

That's some dedication from Mike. Seems awfully early in the year (cold!) for such a long ride!

Watching Jhon Chow closely from long time. Learning very valuable stuff from him always. My niche is also same as Jhon Chow that is make money online. Hope to be bigger than Jhon Chow in this industry. I would love to grab this copy. Thanks.

Pick me! Pick me! Please pick me!!!!!

I deserve it, I promise you ;-)

This edition is really interesting

I didn't have time to watch the whole video because I got hungry for pho while watching. Hope I didn't miss anything big in the last two minutes.

Please pick me.

Congrats to Mike for driving all the way out there. That's a hell of a ride. I don't know how cold it is out there right now, but if it's similar to what's going on on the East Coast, it must be REALLY cold. I'd love a copy of your book too :)

People who travel far distances to attend Dot Com Pho should receive some sort of complimentary gift, I believe ;)

I will take the book, Hope I win.

Thanks

Edgar

What is interesting is the amount of people cumin are increasing every pho, so that is cool.

Would love to be entered into the contest, John.

Man, that food looks good!

I think DotComPho has adopted the Asian Time concept ...Thank Goodness you guys are regulars there....If NOT ...... :-)

Oh Yes.. im in too : ) Signed book.. this is it : )

Hey John, after watching the video I feel like having Chinese today! Heading out to Chinatown for Dim
Sum :)

looking forward to that doubled-signed book!

nice, i jinxed the draw box, i'll win. i like ur blogin ebook john, thanx.

free signed book for a comment? Im all in!

Fun Video. Looking forward to the drawing.

Fingers crossed for the book and good luck to everyone else!

Mike Zahora really deserves special mention for undertaking an epic bike journey to attend your meetup. His blog has some cool food tips, I like the sunshine tea method very much. The Dot Com Pho concept is really great for local networking. It is a model I'd like to see implemented in other cities and countries.

I agree, Dot Com Pho should be held in other cities/countries. I'm kind of envious :P

It may be a good idea to start looking at hosting local dotcom pho's. You must start promoting this in your own area. This does look like a cool idea to me.

Yes that Cold tea is really interesting specially in summer season.

Going to make this one today.

Hey John,
episode is really awesome :) and I love to win a double signed copy.

Thanks,
Dev

I'm very much willing to buy your book. But in my country Bangladesh, PayPal is not supported and also I don't have any international credit card. Also I can't send money in any other way, since there are strict restrictions on sending money outside my country. The only way I can read your book is if you give me a complementary copy of your book. And if the book is signed by you i'll be more than happy and i'll feel proud to show it to my friends.

This is exciting! I wanna get a copy too. Pick me please.. :)

Yes! I want the double signed book, enter me.
If possible, I would also like Ed's autograph haha, seriously.
Another well-done episode. I use urbanspoon for the iPhone and it's very useful when I can't decide where to go to eat; it looks very nice on the ipad.

Hey nice to see Ed again.

Stephen we are missing you.

Mike your website is looking great and would love to see how you grow your garden. Keep us posted.

No No Pick Me Pick Me

Ok, let's try that again: Rather than replying to your tweet I'm now replying to your post - duh! Appreciate the note on Twitter, John, that was very nice of you! And I'd love to be entered in the draw for the double signed copy of your book, of course.

Thank you!

Monika

Would love to win the double signed copy. Might increase in value over time with both your signature on it ;-) SY

It would be really nice to win a double signed copy of your book.

Awesome John. I'm hoping for a Canucks/Sharks Stanley Cup! And one of these days I hope I can make it to your dot com Pho events. Keep it real!

Did they offer a reason for being late?

That would've been fun, finding out their excuse for being late. Next time, maybe the last person who's late has to pick up the tab ;)

That made me laugh.

Hey John ...

This one is really a great idea.

Tell your most interesting excuse to be being late ... lollz

Ed will tell he was sleeping ... lollzz

I'd totally love to win a double signed copy.

That makes two of us, pal! If I don't win I still think I'll order the double signed copy of the book. It is destined to be a classic.

That makes 3 of us.

Those hot pots look awesome, one day I'll check that restaurant out. I'd like the book too of course :P

I was going to show up to next week's Pho, I had a short appointment downtown Van just before it; but I had to change the appointment to help a good friend move :( The new appointment is Tuesday, don't know when I'll next be in town on a Saturday. Here's hoping I win the book to make up for missing out.

I wouldn't mind winning a copy of your book. I'd probably buy it, if I wasn't saving for an iPad and a new camera :)

Nuts, I totally forgot today, I was working on my newsletter all day.

I watch every video for every Saturday.

Yes this one is really interesting.

All fun shrink in 5 minutes to 10 minutes video.

Would love to see all people together.

I'd be down to enter to win the book. I know about being late John! I hated getting stuck behind the Olympic Torch!

Good stuff... Looking forward to the drawing John.
