How one lazy bum made $176,697.50

All the Freelancers got together at Happy Pho for the Freelance Camp Edition of Dot Com Pho. Freelance Camp is an “unconference” event for independent workers to connect, share knowledge, and become better freelancers. The event takes place in Vancouver on May 29 at The Network Hub. Tickets are only $10 and it all goes to charity. Michael Kwan and I will be presenting at the camp and we invite everyone to come on down.

Besides Freelance Camp, this edition of Dot Com Pho feature the lemon soda, the winner of the Make Money Online book, the wearable gadget of the week, the iPad app of the week and some other stuff. Anyone is welcome to join us for Dot Com Pho. Follow me on Twitter to find the time and location of the next edition.

Ah, no more pictures/talk about iPads! I want one sooo bad but I think now I'm waiting for version 2, which will almost certainly have a high res display. :)

Hey everyone, just a quick note that Snaptech Marketing is giving away 2 free tickets to Freelance Camp Vancouver.

Just give your opinion on one of our portfolio pieces and let us know on this blog post

The iBook Store is pretty much the reason why am am looking at getting an iPad now, rather than waiting for the second generation. I love reading, and if it was as easy as this when I was a kid, then I never would've walked to the library so many times.

It seems the iPads are in all of the dot com Pho video editions these days!

another great addition of Pho

thanks

Looks great.Thanks for sharing.

I love the way how John told about iTune registration.

He was sounding like 12 years old kid.

Yes that was really cute.

John keep alive that inside kid.

Haha, I LOL'd at that too...good stuff. I would love to come visit a .com pho sometime. It looks like a lot of fun!

The ibook store is so cool but Asia wont get it any time soon.

Thanks, but I am not eligible, I live "over the big pond" in good old Europe, but let me check out your tweets, if they are interesting I follow you anyway ;-) SY

You described your location really beautifully.

I lost in imagination :)

UGH. Flash Fail!

Well, sorry there's a lot of flash on my site. But the good news is for you JC fans, I'm gonna give my copy away because I already bought one from Amazon and sent in a photo to win an iPad. Follow me on Twitter @ShopEvolv and just give me a shout out. Everyone that follows and sends a friendly greeting is automatically entered to win. I'll ship to Canada and US addresses.

Heh, am I eligible to win my own copy back? :)

Boy you should wait a bit but no fault of yours because this book is really tempting and quite affordable as well.

You should use Gravatar now.

John, your gadgets make me laugh!

I thought he was armed with explosives for a minute, haha

only if my car was parked in Times Square in NYC ;)

You know. I think the Scottevest would be perfect for suicide bombers. Let's hope they don't find out about it!

I get visitors refferred from your blog and they're from all over the world. I don't doubt they'll eventually find out about it. ;)

That is very terrible if they do find out about it.

Haha not really because no matter what they'll keep doing it without this jacket or not. They'll make their own if they have to :P

Great PR move for Scott I'm sure. Love what happened with him and Loren, lol.
