One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch. Dot Com Pho is on Saturday. It’s out of date if you post it on Sunday or Monday.
You see, it’s like the Incredible Hulk Movie. You wanted to be first, and you get a crappy Hulk Movie. Then I have to come along and remake it.
It’s best to take the time necessary to do a good job that you can be proud of, that shows that you actually care, and that demonstrates your creativity and attention to detail.
Nuff said…
There’s only one problem. Your remakes are not better. If I were to set up a poll, I have even money that I would beat you, both in time and in quality.
There’s another problem… Putting that poll on yours or my blog isn’t neutral. We’d have to get a more neutral third party like…. ProBlogger… to post it or something. Then there is also the problem of you trying to game the poll and do evil marketing with it which I always expect
The only reason my remakes aren’t better to you is because you made the “Ang Lee” version
What’s funny about the new “Hulk” film is that Edward Norton isn’t happy with the finished product.
That’s right. I’m STILL not happy with it. However, “Ang (Chow)” doesn’t think he can do any better

John is the Dot com pho by invitation only? How many people on the average attend these events and how much does it cost to feed everyone.I might be able to attend one in July,that is if i am welcomed.
There was an open invite link on one of Friday’s posts, where you can contact John to save a seat for you. It was my 4th DCP and the number of folks have ranged from 8 to 25. And there’s no free lunch, it’s dutch.
