Dot Com Pho – Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! Edition

Normally, Dot Com Pho happens every Saturday but since I had to present a workshop at UBC yesterday, we moved the meet up to Sunday. We had five people showed up for the Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! edition, including brand new attendee Stacey Robinsmith of the Left Coast Blog.

For this edition of Dot Com Pho, we played a mean trick on Aaron by tricking him into eating a red hot thai chille pepper, we discuss the Child Football Legue and showed off the gadget of the week. In addition, I got to test out the instant replay feature of iMoive 11. Enjoy the video and we’ll see you next week!

That is one hot looking chille pepper! Hilarious video effects!

    1. Aaron was a good sport about it but he clearly was overwhelmed by how hot the pepper was.

He was right. Nobody else had touched the red peppers.

      1. Now that’s why we miss Vancouver Dot com pho.

Because we will never able to see such kind of fun at Seatle Dot com pho.

        1. Robin Gupta says:

    1. John you really know how to tell lie …

What a perfection in this field as well.

      1. d3so says:

lol. All marketers are liars, remember?

  2. Michael Kwan says:

So awesome getting Aaron to eat the pepper. Too bad the clips of the rest of us eating it didn’t get on video. 😉

    1. But finally you saw it at here …

But Michael … where is Ed and other guys ?

      1. Michael Kwan says:

Ed was off watching the Grey Cup, as far as I know, and Stephen was… I don’t know.

    2. d3so says:

I wish I could’ve seen the rest of you guys eating it.

      1. Hey D3so,

We didn’t eat it. I’ve tried a similar pepper once, except it had a green color and that was enough for me for a long time. The red ones can be even hotter I think.

        1. d3so says:

Oh, I guess that comment by Michael had a pinch of sarcasm in it. 😛

  3. Dan Lew says:

I didn’t see the amazon link included to buy the mac book air cover?

      1. Dan Lew says:

        Ah great 🙂

        1. John do not want to miss any chance of getting commission … lollzzz

          1. Just checked that link and I think red colour was looking more attractive compare to black one.

      2. d3so says:

        lol affiliate link alert!

  4. Hey John,

It was fun having you around again. If you want to see yourself taking parts of your video, I’ll be posting mine from the Pho of our Canadian Football Grey Cup discussion soon on my blog.

    Feeling Home John ?

    1. d3so says:

It definitely feels like home 😉

      1. I think that Vancouver will feel like home to John for a long time yet.

        1. d3so says:

The dot com pho in Vancouver is more lively than the one in Seattle.

    1. d3so says:

Kinda. The CFL talk was boring but I enjoyed the pepper part.

    2. Harshad says:

Actually depends on your interests. People who like CFL might enjoy it.
