Dot Com Pho – Thanh Vi Edition

For this week’s Dot Com Pho, we went back to Seattle’s International District to try out Pho Thanh Vi on South Jackson Street. Thanh Vi is not part of the Pho Bac mafia. You can tell that the instant you walk inside. For one thing, the place is extremely clean and welcoming. Their menu also offers a lot more choices other than just Vietnamese beef noodle soup. I got a table for eight but other than myself, only Harlan and Travis showed up. Two people ended sitting in our table so it looked like we had five.

For the Thanh Vi edition of Dot Com Pho, we have the lonely Pho, making ice coffee with a Tassimo Brewbot, the gadget of the week and a bunch of other stuff. Dot Com Pho happens once a week and everyone is welcome to join. Follow me on Twitter to find the time and location of the next one.

I think it’s expected that vancouver has better gadgets because Michael writes for futuretech.

        1. d3so says:

          Wait, I mean futurelooks.

Thanh Vi looks good. I hope the food is also good.
    I like Vietnamese cuisine.

    1. John Chow says:

The food was extremely good. Thanh Vi might become our go to Pho place in Seattle.

      1. Nice to see that you finally got a permanent address to organise dot com pho.

        1. Hey John … if you will compare Vancouver and here’s dot com pho than which one is more delicious and tasty.

          1. John Chow says:

            Seattle has better tasting Pho.

          2. I also thinks so after watching this live captured article, and thinks you have another place to enjoy the dot com pho.

Haha! It’s not part of the Pho Bac Mafia. That’s hilarious. 🙂

Is the Streak even a phone or just a tablet?

    1. Michael Kwan says:

It can be used as a phone, but you’d looka little odd holding something that size up to your face. Maybe a BT headset would help.

    2. Stephen says:

DELL actually classifies it as a tablet. When I went looking for it, it was in the Tablet area and not the phone area.

I tend to talk on this thing in the office only. But when I have used it, voice quality is amazing! I guess bigger is better!

      1. PPC Ian says:

It’s really interesting – quite a bit smaller than the iPad. I’m not sure I’d want a tablet that small.

        1. But i think it will be something different than iPad and will give you a chance to experience Bluetooth full functionality and a additional sim card slot.

    3. Abhik says:

      It IS a tablet..

  8. PPC Ian says:

I like the Geek On shirt from Newegg… Pretty cool stuff, although I agree the shirt did look a bit large!

    1. d3so says:

If it’s too big for michael, he can send it to me 😉

  9. Free Picks says:
