Normally, Dot Com Pho is held on the patio of Pho Ba Co. We have never dined inside the restaurant before because it’s always sunny in Southern California, and outdoor Pho is the best Pho. However, we got forced indoor today, not because of rain, but because of the sun. We’re in the middle of a heat wave and it’s just too damn hot to have Pho outside! Being inside had its blessing. The restaurant is extremely loud and that set up the perfect 3-way microphone test.
In addition to finding out which mic is the best for a noisy environment, this episode of Dot Com Pho features Pho menu #17, a Pho accident, Sally learning how to drive and then shopping for an angry sport car, a blinding gadget of the week, and I get paid $5,000 to wear a T-shirt!

Sounds pretty good with sony bluetooth mic but i like Sony ECM-HW2 – Bluetooth Wireless Microphone System for Video Cameras… this device mounts into the active interface shoe of a Sony Handicam camera, and enables you to capture the subject’s and the camera operator’s voices from up to 300 feet (91.44 m) away. Next time i visit pho ba co, i will try menu #17 btw, are you going back to Canada for visit?
Sounds good but I don’t have a Sony camcorder. I’m flying to Vancouver on Tuesday.
