Dot Com Pho – The Three Amigos Edition

With many of the regular Dot Com Pho attendees missing in action, attendance for this edition of Dot Com Pho was reduced to three. Well, we had a total of four people showed up but only three were at the table at any one time. Hopefully, we’ll have higher attendance next week. Anyone is welcome to join us for Dot Com Pho. Follow me on Twitter to find out the time and place of the next one.

For the three amigos edition of Dot Com Pho, we have the return of Buzz Bishop, why Richmond drivers are dangerous (his name is Ed Lau), Facebook water and why it’s stupid, Pho menu #L1, texting and driving, the gadget of the week, deep fried bananas and a whole lot more. Kaching!

    Pho again? 🙂

    1. John Chow says:

Every Saturday, unless I’m out of town. 🙂

      1. Enoch Fung says:

So sorry! I will try to make it after the January personal “issues” have blown over. I promise and you know how to hunt me down if I break that promise! lol

  3. Ed Lau says:

Weird part is…I don’t remember that phone call at all!

    1. Vincent Woon says:

That’s probably part of the dream before you woke up LOL

  4. John, you should have had a giveaway to everyone who did show up… make those who missed it feel really bad. 🙂

    1. John Chow says:

The last time we had only 4 show up, everyone got Macbook Pros. But nothing this time. That’s just the way it goes. You never know what you’re going to get!

      1. That statement should at least quadruple your turnout for the next Dot Com Pho. The holidays are something of the past now, and most people should be back at work by monday.

  5. S Ahsan says:

So whats in the menu this time?

  6. Mama BoK says:

One quick question john .. Where can I “ta lung” in Richmond? steamboat is another word for it.

  7. Very funny Dot Com Pho!

  8. chester says:

Where are the pictures of the awesome food?

  9. As for Ed going on the defensive about his driving, enough said! The facebook vitamin water is something I cant quite get my head around. I suppose they have to figure out how to cash in on their 350 million odd subscribers somehow!

  10. Is this open to anybody or just A-list bloggers?

    1. John Chow says:

      It’s open to all.

  11. Custom Essay says:

Yeh, it is open to all, but it’s better if all the people who should up were entertained. And John, please upload pics of food like the way you uploaded in the past.

  12. Great baby picture from Buzz Bishop in that video!

  13. mmo says:

Pretty low attendance, I amn sure if you announce on your blog more people would turn out.

  14. Haha another great get together.

  15. Bidet says:

Looks like you guys had a good time. I hope next time more people show up.

  16. Was Mexican food on the menu for the three Amigos?

  17. chester says:

Hey I just went and checked out this pho restaurant. Good spring rolls and ice coffee. The broth was good but not the greatest. Still, it was a great way to spend $10.

  18. Wilson Usman says:

John you are the man, but I dont understand what is the point to this? I am not being sarcastic or something like that…I watched the whole video what are you trying to accomplish? just pretty much hang out talk about anything?

    1. Ed Lau says:

Why would we need to accomplish anything apart from hang out with our friends and talk about stuff?

    2. John Chow says:

There is no point. That’s the point.

  19. Aaron Koo says:

I think that kaching button gets the prize for the “Worst Gadget Of The Week”. I’m still not sure what the “That Was Easy” button is supposed to do. Is it a paper weight?

  20. Kate says:

I wish I was part of your group 🙂 I LOVE being around successful people.
