Dot Com Pho – Traffic Secrets 2.0 Edition

Dot Com Pho welcomes the return of Michael Kwan and wave bye-bye to Stephen Fung. Michael is back from Edmonton for the Christmas holiday. Stephen flew off to Mexico for his Christmas holiday.

The highlight of today’s episode was the giving away of the $397 copy of Traffic Secrets 2.0 by John Reese. There were over 500 entries but only one winner. Was it you? This week’s edition also includes, living in Edmonton, Pho menu #33, Sally faces, how not to use chopsticks and the return of the Twitter Shout Outs.

Dot Com Pho was filmed on location at Pho Lan Restaurant in Richmond. Filming was done on a Flip Mino and edited in iMovie 08 on the MacBook Pro. Anyone is welcome to join us for Dot Com Pho. Follow me on Twitter to find the time and location of the next one.

It’s a high value product to give away. Congratulations to Bonnie for winning it. I guess the more important thing now is to put this stuff to use and get loads of traffic!

  8. Congrats to the winner. That is an awesome prize to win. Great video John. Sally was so funny making those faces. I think she is probably the youngest person to have both a dot Com web site and a Twitter account. 🙂

    1. Tushar says:

Probably the youngest blogger to make money off their site as well (she is making money, right?)

  9. Chester says:

Nice prize to have 🙂 Hopefully I am in time to join next time!

  10. Bonnie says:

    2. Congratulations, Bonnie. I’m envious but it’s good to see someone we’ve met at our first dotcompho win something.

  11. People do live in Edmonton, and is remarkably boring in the winter, exactly because it’s so freaking cold here. Wait until the summer when we earn our nickname as festival city.

Just wait until Kwansicle lives in Red Deer, lol

    1. Tushar says:

      Oilers FTW!

      Hopefully they’ll win this season.

  12. Yay! Thanks for the mention of tinyurl dot com ha ha.
I do my best to stand out and be different. 🙂

I’ve never seen video of your daughter. Sally rocks!

    Congrats Bonnie!

  13. Wow, seems like there’s a WHOLE lot of twitter shoutouts now. I wonder if it’s still as beneficial as in the past where each shoutout had it’s own mention 😉

  19. Melissa says:

That was a great way to pick the winner of Traffic 2.0, John; just sorry that I lost:(

  20. Winning something is great.

But I have to say, the second best thing to that is actually forking over the $500 for a program and using the money-back-guarantee if you don’t start on to it right away. I’ve found that when I pay a lot for my tools I treat them better, get the most out of them and really drill their authors to be sure I get my money’s worth out of them.

    1. Tushar says:

If only all authors really do stand beside their money-back guarantee. Most of the time it’s just a marketing ploy.

  21. Rahul says:

Humm… well congrats to the winner. Next time it is my turn. :p

  22. BusinessX says:

Sally is a scene stealer! Loved the “this is how boring it is” bit.

  23. walter says:

What happened to the blog income report for November? Did I miss it?

  24. Hi John,

Sally Chow wins the Best Face Award in this weeks Dot Com Pho Edition! Thanks for all the videos, the Flip Mino does a fine job, and I’ve used expensive broadcast cameras for years at Sony and Hollywood Studio Engineering and post-production tasks.

Michael Kwan is now my friend, I’ve made peace with him RE: Segway jokes. Enough is enough!

Hope to meet you again at #ASW09 in Las Vegas, Cashinator!

    Respectfully,
