Dot Com Pho – West Lake Edition

written by John Chow on November 1, 2008

How to make $593 in less than one hour

We headed to West Lake Vietnamese Restaurant in Richmond for this week’s edition of Dot Com Pho. West Lake is located in an extremely busy shopping plaza on Number 3 Road and finding parking can be a chore, especially on a Saturday. However, we lucked out and found an empty space pretty quick. West Lake is way more Chinese than it is Vietnamese but we knew that going in based on the name. It was a nice spot to hold a Pho meet up.

For this edition of Dot Com Pho, we have things that make you go hmmm, Wolf’s new gadget, lemon grass chicken wings, the gadget of the week and the biggest Twitter shout out to date. Next week, we may have to limit the number of shout outs.

Dot Com Pho was filmed using a Flip digital camcorder and edited with Apple iMovie on a Macbook Air. To find out where the next Dot Com Pho will be held, follow me on Twitter.

You’re lucky that you can have all this fun.

Where were Ed, Stephen, and iPhone Gary? Ray?

John Chow November 1, 2008 at 9:01 pm

Stephen was learning how to do a clean and jerk, Gary was getting ready to get nailed, Ed was sleeping and Ray was working on getting a last name.

Patrick November 1, 2008 at 9:33 pm

Could it be that the post I guest posted here gave viewers more urge to participate in the Twitter Shoutout? :D

-Mike

John Chow November 2, 2008 at 10:23 am

I think it’s more because the shout out tweet came from my Twitter instead of of Ed’s. :)

Mike Huang November 2, 2008 at 12:39 pm

Lol, maybe :P BTW, did you happen to receive my other guest post about Twitter? I want to make sure.
