Dot Com Pho – Who Gives A Hoot Edition

written by John Chow on September 19, 2009

How to make $593 in less than one hour

After taking a few weeks off trying everything but real Pho, Dot Com Pho is back to classic Vietnamese beef noodle soup. For this meet up, Stephen Fung and I were joined by unemployed ex-radio personality, Buzz Bishop, and profession student Ed Lau, who was late as usual.

Dot Com Pho was filmed at Pho Vancouver on Main Street and King Edward. We’ve nicknamed the place Happy Pho because the owner, Brian, is the happiest restaurant owner we’ve ever met. Anyone is welcome to join us for Dot Com Pho. Follow me on Twitter to find the time and location of the next one.

For this edition of Dot Com Pho we have Buzz’s new start up, Dad CAMP, Why Ed is always late, the gadget of the week, geeks are sexy, a preview of Hootsuite for iPhone and a whole lot more.

That’s look great. Atlast! something delicious yet health-looking food. ^-^

Stephen September 19, 2009 at 10:08 pm

Yes. A carmelized Banana Split with all the toppings is very healthy. I felt a sense of well being after eating it.

Benjamin Cip September 20, 2009 at 1:09 am

Well, I’m not certain it’s really healthy… you know sometimes the soup is too much salty or oily… but it sures is more healthy than eating a burger king or other junk food.

nathan September 20, 2009 at 1:23 am

This is more healthier compared to big burgers that was featured a couple of days ago.

Well, if we can’t resist eating some delicious foods once in a while, we can still put additional exercises in our daily routine.

Benjamin Cip September 20, 2009 at 10:07 am

You’re totally right Nathan. By just seeing the food in this video… I just can’t resit but want to eat everything! It made me very hungry, how about you?

How to Make Money with blog September 20, 2009 at 10:51 pm

I really like vietnamese food as well as other asian food… but I can’t deny that I also like American Junk Food such as Kentaky’s and MCdonald’s.

nathan September 20, 2009 at 1:19 am

I love asian foods more especially the different kind of noodles. I love ramen the best!

Benjamin Cip September 20, 2009 at 10:10 am

Actually, I like asian food. Especially Chinese, Japanese and Korean food such as Gyoza, Ramen, Kimchi, tenpura, sukiyaki, spring roll and so on… Do you like the ramen called “tan tan men”? I’m not sure you know this because I ate it in Japan, but maybe you’ve already tried it… well, I really like it!

nathan September 21, 2009 at 4:21 am

I’ve tried some Indian foods and it tasted so spicy but great! Just have to drink a lot of water while eating it.

ZK @ Web Marketing Blog September 23, 2009 at 7:05 am

Plenty of water during food can effect your digestion.

You will find tremendous different tastes in Indian food. Every state of India have different taste. Like in South India you can taste Dosa or Idly … and in North you can try Mutter Paneer or Butter Paneer.

In east Sweets are more famous with the name of Rossogola and fish curry are delicious.

You will surprised to see that in India there are so many different varieties.

While we’re on the subject of eastern cuisine, I’d like to add my spicy comments too. Indian food really does it for me, with tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala being my favourites. Then do not even get me started with Sushi, as I can consume the stuff like nothing else. Nom, nom, nom…..

Volksphone September 21, 2009 at 4:28 am

You´re so right. Sushi is the best. I make it by my own it is not so good if I go to a sushi house but it tastes great. And cooking or sushi making is a nice evening event when you did this with friends ;)

Antti Kokkonen - Zemalf.com September 21, 2009 at 6:18 am
