John, does the Toolbar include Spyware? :P

Actually it is not really hard to build your own toolbar. I built one myself for my site called 'Tech Help Videos'. You can see it here - http://techhelpvideos.ourtoolbar.com/

Why the hell would anyone install this toolbar? Are you people like little puppets? Following a guy and his blog , to the very end.. because you can't think for yourselves?

Another toolbar? I have about 5 toolbars already. Somebody needs to make toolbar with:
- Stumble
- PR
- Torrent Search
- Spelling check
- John Chow button :D

John , I don't think having a toolbar its a good idea. i already enjoy reading your post in RSS and from your website. So i hope you can release something more different than anyone else, like widgets stuffs.

Look who's discovered Conduit Toolbars. :grin: I experimented with them awhile back...before they were called Conduit even.

That is one evil way to get your Rss jumping and i can see why you released that bar, it got you 1000 plus readers extra! :mrgreen: You are on the 11000 mark and going higher and higher each day!

How much have you made so far John? As far as I remember conduit pays like 0.01/0.02 per search.

Hey John, I am in the process designing one for my readers as well. Actually I wanted to tip you on this one, but seems you got there beforehand. :cry:

I think you can make it slightly better by adding some of your articles. For instance, 'Money Makers' list can definitely go there. This will give you readers a quick access to your main reference list. I have been readin your for more than a year now, and there a bunch of pages I visit on a regular basis. Having them on a toolbar would make things easier.

I'm not a big fan of toolbars either. I'd suggest thinking outside the box and going for a Vista gadget or something along that line.

I use this toolbar for my blog. It is a cool and dif way for your readers to get your feed and stuff.

so basically I get the same thing that google bar offers, but with a big fat johnchow.com text and secret messages....

I'll stick to the normal ones with my costume things on it.

Sounds interesting. It may replace my google toolbar :)
