Driving with John Chow – Episode 20 The Value of Face To Face Networking

Wow! I can’t believe this is the 20th episode of Driving with John Chow. It seem like only yesterday when I did the first episode. Time does fly when you’re having fun.

On this episode of Driving with John Chow, I discuss the important of live face-to-face networking, and why attending trade shows, live events, and masterminds is a very profitable thing to do.

I showed how two face-to-face networking event resulted in over $1 million of extra income. Ya, that’s right. Over $1 million of extra income! There’s also a bonus 80’s tune at the start of the video. Can you name the song? Enjoy!

Nice video John. Networking is so important. It can just lead to so many oppertunities online and offline and you can always find someone that you could end up partnering with one day. The value is priceless!

    hi John

I hope you’re going to hit Episode 50, and then Episode 100 soon!

Good luck with your attendance to Affiliate Summit, and hopefully I’ll come and visit and meet with you next year over there if synergy is right…

Las Vegas sounds terrific, cannot wait to have the opportunity to be there, you like it more than East Coast conferences?

Over $1 million? Great stuff bro, congrats. 15 grand to make a million bucks, that’s a great investment bro.

From where I’m from there’s no major events like that just some clown workshops 😀

There’s a seminar coming in a few weeks I already have some business card ideas. Would be great if you create a post about how we can network to people who attend these events 🙂

  4. It’s so true John.

You don’t have to know everything to start earning great incomes online.

That’s why these events have been going strong for all these years.

    THEY WORK!

I attended an event in Manchester UK a few months back and the contacts, partnerships and JV’s have been invaluable to me and my online business.

Definitely see the value in what you have said here and hope many follow suit.

Have a great day and thanks for this inspiring video.

    Regards
    Gavin

    Thumbs Up!

  7. Yes sir! I completely agree that face to face networking is really where it is at, while online networking can also be fun. You really don’t get to know someone unless you sit down and have a face to face conversation with that person, perferably over a drink.

The Internet has helped many people get “connected” yet because we are doing everything online it can be difficult to really foster relationships. One JV could propel someone into their future success, and those really only occur with networking at events.

    Hi John,
Face to face networking is still ruling the market.
with this you can convince people in a proper way with giving them example. this is one of the best way to earn money

  9. John,

Happy 20th, John! I have to say I love this concept ‘Driving with John Chow’ and can’t wait until the 100th video!

Face to Face networking is definitely the best way to network by far. I actually have gotten shout-outs from organizations because of them coming up to me and asking me to join helping out their organization. When they do this they normally have websites/blogs and they normally write posts about my blog and they tweet and Facebook my blog out to the world.

Anyways great video and maybe you will see my Dad and Mom at Affiliate Summit this weekend. They are heading over there on Saturday.

Have fun at Affiliate Summit and as always great post,

Affiliate summit’s coming. 🙂 There’s always something good about meetups and events that over the net communication just don’t have.

I agree that no matter how connected we are via social media platforms and via blogs, nothing beat face to face networking.

    Looking forward to your 21st!
