Driving with John and Sally Chow – Episode 30

Welcome to the last Driving with John Chow for 2013! On this special episode, I brought along a very special guest. That’s right, welcome to Driving with John and Sally Chow! OK, Sally didn’t do any driving, nor did she do a lot of talking, but she did try to do a lot of distracting!

On this episode, I give you my advice to make 2014 your best year ever, and that advice is to stop thinking and start doing. Most people think more about a project than actually doing the project. How long have you been thinking about making money online? Now, how long have you been doing it? If you’re thinking more than doing, then it’s time to reverse the two. The best way to do that is by taking the first step. Watch the video to find out what that is.

Stop thinking and just do that first step. You are so right John. Thank you.

    Hi John,

Many newbie internet marketers actually do a lot of thinking before diving into a project because they’re not yet sure what to expect from it.

In my own opinion, it’s better to think about the pros and cons of a business model before going into it but don’t waste much time to try it out.

“special guess” I think it should be “special guest”

    Hello Sally!

Hi John, well I just finished reading your complete book in one afternoon and took copious notes. You are amazing!! I have spent the last 6 weeks or more on research and programs and I learnt more from your book in one afternoon. I have retired after working for the Government for over 31 years and have been looking to start a blog on various interests I have and/or knowledge accumulated with age and experience. I was overwhelmed with information and suddenly this afternoon it made sense. Thank you so much. It has restored my faith to know that there are still people out there who will tell it like it is and give you a helping hand. I truly wish you and your family all the best for the coming year of 2014. Sincerely Margaret L Smith. Australia

I agree with your points John if you want something bad enough such as a better life and more freedom get off your butt and make things happen:)

We, humans are totally analytical with tendency to over think everything.
And that’s exactly what keeps us stock.

Do something every day that scares you …..- is my motto

    Be fearless and start doing!

    to the point , John!

    cheers

In the past, I was caught up in thinking too much. I had ideas but I never acted on them. That’s a dream and not a goal. I goal has action like John said. You never know what you can achieve until you take action.

    Happy holidays!

  9. Riki says:

Cute daughter you’ve got there, I see what you mean about being the distracting one 🙂 Well, at least she’s taking in all the words of wisdom.

I think that the people who keep dreaming without putting it into action are just missing the push to do it, mostly in the form of a plan, a system, or a mentor.

I really liked the parable of the missile. Right on target 🙂 Going to refer back to that often.

  10. Neary Heng says:

    John,

I like your example of the missile! It’s so true. Batteries are fully charged, the camera is on a tripod and ACTION!

    Thank you!
