Driving with John Chow – Episode 31 Do or Do Not

Wow. I can’t believe January is almost over and this is the first episode of Driving with John Chow for 2014! I need to drive the car more often. The funny thing is, one of my goals for 2014 is to make more driving episodes. I have some catching up to do now.

On this episode of Driving with John Chow, I take the Mercedes SL550 for a drive to BCD Tofu House for lunch. Along the way, I talked about my $500 wheatgrass shot. I was hearing the health benefits of wheatgrass and decided to grow and juice some. The cost of the wheatgrass growing kit and cold press juicer came to about $500. It wasn’t until afterward that I found out I could have gone to a local Jamba Juice and got a shot for about $3. I also do a very poor imitation of Yoda giving advice to a young Luke Skywalker. Enjoy!

My wish come true pretty fast, indeed a nice surprize. $500…. that’s outrageous man :D

John! This is pure golden wisdom! For years I wanted to make real money online. I only succeeded when my back was against the wall financially. I had to make this happen, because I had a family to support and no other options. At that point, I started to really break through. I’m now a full-time IM’er! Incredible post!

Hi John,

Awesome episode as always! I have to say I was a little disappointed that you didn’t attempt to actually do an impression of Yoda though! ;-)

Having a decisive attitude in whatever we do is essential. More often than not, simply ‘having a go’ at something without really dedicating oneself to it produces no better results than if we hadn’t bothered to do anything.

At least if we firmly decide not to do something then we can move on to something that we can commit to and better spend our time. But to just mess around and not make a firm decision one way or another is just wasting time.

Thanks, John. Just yesterday I was wondering when the next driving episode would be so I’m glad you’ve done one. I’m looking forward to the next!

Kind regards,
Glenn

Good info John. I like the comparison about how people go all in for college and find a way to pay for tuition. You have to commit for anything that you really want.
