EasyAzon – The Ultimate Amazon Affiliate Plugin

My good friend and regular Dot Com Pho attendee, Chris Guthrie, has just released a WordPress Plugin that he has been using to help him generate $1.4 million in revenue from the Amazon Affiliate Program. Some of you may remember that I did webinar with Chris back in November on How To Cash In On The Holidays with Amazon Associates Program. Chris generates a tremendous amount of revenue by combining a WordPress blog with his Amazon plugin call EasyAzon.

What Is EasyAzon?

EasyAzon is a premium WordPress plugin that allows you to easily add products from Amazon.com into your blog. I have been beta testing it for a while now, and I can tell you it’s the best plugin of its kind that I’ve ever used. Some of the key features include:

  • Search for products to promote from Amazon without leaving your WordPress dashboard. You can search by ASIN or Keyword.
  • Quickly add high conversion Amazon affiliate text links, image based affiliate links or insert a product information block which includes more details about the product all while providing affiliate links.
  • Take advantage of your preexisting international traffic.

The ability to take advantage of international traffic is a huge benefit. Amazon link localization allows many of your Amazon affiliate links to be dynamically changed to the appropriate Amazon website based on where your visitor is looking from. For example, a UK visitor would see anAmazon.co.uk affiliate link instead of Amazon.com. This ensures that you earn a commission from your International traffic.

Chris plans to sell EasyAzon for $67. However, during this grand opening period, you can get the plugin for only $47. That’s pretty much a steal and the plugin will pay for itself many times over. I’ve only scratch the surface on what the plugin can do. Watch the video for the full 411.

  1. Kevin Kimes says:

$1.4m is huge. Happen to know if that’s using paid traffic? I’d assume so.

The plugin looks like a great tool to start generating diversified income.

    1. John Chow says:

It’s all organic traffic. Watch the webinar I did with Chris and you’ll see how he gets his traffic.

      1. Real Man says:

Thanks for sharing this with us John I’m going to watch the seminar.

But I remember your post saying you didn’t like Amazon’s affiliate program. Have you changed your mind about that?

      2. That’s insane with all organic traffic.

        1. Abhik says:

Organic traffic is known to be highly targeted, but to make 1.4 million, he surely had to get atleast 25x more traffic.
          Now, that’s insane.

          1. I don*t find the amount of traffic insane but impressive.

          2. That kind of organic traffic us insanely impressive!

      3. Kevin Kimes says:

Wow, that’s very impressive being all organic. I bet he could even do more with some PPC to his sites. Definitely going to watch that webinar now.

    2. Sounding really great … Yes joined that webinar and that was one of the best webinar we had here.

Plugin is really awesome and made with his own practical experience so it is going to be useful.

      1. Abhik says:

Yes, the webiner was really great.
Plugins can make life easier, but can’t do all the work for you.

      2. I need to listen to that webinar.

  2. Fadi says:

    I mean,
are you sure he made 1.4 mil?

    1. It’s $1.4MM in revenue. As an affiliate since early 2009 I’ve earned nearly $100k with their affiliate program and I sold one of my largest Amazon sites last year in a deal worth six figures.

      1. Hey Chris,

It sounds really good. Is the plugin the same it was for the last year or so or do you have a new version now?

        1. This is the very first version of the plugin. I just released it to the public a few days ago ๐Ÿ™‚

      2. Yea, but if it’s with all organic traffic his expenses must be pretty low.

        1. Never mind, I got the picture now.

          1. Kevin Kimes says:

I think I got it now. The 1.4M is in total sales numbers to Amazon? So with the 7% or so, that’s about $100,000 net for him. Still not bad at all for all organic.

          2. That’s seriously good money with Amazon.

        2. Yah my biggest expenses are usually just buying domain names, paying for content writers and that’s about it. Sometimes I’m the only content writer for the sites.

  3. Abhik says:

None of the affiliate sales booster plugins will work if you don’t have adequate amount of traffic.
But, this one looks promising though.

    1. Yah, of course they won’t help if you don’t have traffic. But the point of this plugin is to make it so simple that even your outsourced workers can do it and subsequently you can spend more of your time on getting traffic and less of your time fiddling around with code and going back and forth to Amazon.com ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Abhik says:

        Thanks Chris,
Can you please tell us how your plugin is better than this one?
        http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-amazon-associate/

    2. Real Man says:

How many uniques per day do you need to make decent money?

      1. Kevin Kimes says:

This varies by a huge amount. Especially since everyone’s definition of “decent money” is different.

If you manage to find the perfect keyword for people buying $1800 chef’s knife sets or high end laptops, then it’d take a lot less than if you’re using semi-targeted traffic to sell Kindle books.

        1. Yea, you have to sell more than books on Amazon to make that kind of money. I have a Nikon camera site that I get come pretty good commissions off of when I sell a $900 camera.

          1. Kevin Kimes says:

I probably will end up doing a camerazon site too. Makes sense, since I love cameras. Seems like building a solid information site for lenses is where some real money can be made.

Sell one Canon L series I.S. telephoto prime, and you’ve got quite a healthy commission. Like the EF 200mm f/2L IS USM for SIX GRAND! Heh.

          2. Yea, you have to sell stuff on Amazon high enough to earn some decent referral fees. Books will only get you a few cents. Not really worth it.

  4. Affiliate is really best way to earn money, and of course i will take advantage….

    1. That is great. There is something wrong with you if you will let go of the opportunity.

  5. No doubt that is a ultimate idea and this is inspirational post. Knowledge is one of the most valuable things in the world,i really appreciate to you.

  6. Tom says:

That’s a great plugin. I use Amazon and that plugin would make adding or changing content a lot easier.

  7. Thanks I have always needed help with Amazon

    1. Amazon is pretty simple, but anything can help.

    2. Abhik says:

      In buying or selling? ๐Ÿ™‚
Oh!! I guess you are talking about marketing amazon products.

      1. Everything is simple when you know what to do and how to do it. In simplicity there is genius. Any plugin that makes things simpler will be helpful.

      2. Selling Amazon products. You can start a blog on just about any topic and make some money with Amazon, I mean, they sell every product in the world, don’t they?

  8. Graham Lutz says:

Will this be included in his Niche Profits Course, like the theme is?

    1. Hey Graham,

I’m 99.9% certain I’ll never include the plugin with Niche Profit Course. With EasyAzon I use the Clickbank order number as a license key and this is built into the coding so I’d have to have the entire license system recoded to be able to give it away freely. The reason why I did that though is so that if people refund the plugin stops working (this is done to help stop people that refund Clickbank products all the time)

      So long story: No ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Kevin Kimes says:

        Clever licensing method ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. lol, yah I learned my lesson. Over half of my refunds for any products that I sell come from people that just refund a day or two before the 60 day refund mark which can be frustrating.

          1. Kevin Kimes says:

Yeah, there’s always going to be that element of society where they’ll buy the ebooks or other soft products and take a refund if they can, while keeping the product.

      2. Abhik says:

        Yeah!! Smart move.

  9. fas says:

That is amazing. So basically its a affiliate program from Amazon!?

    1. With Amazon looks like. You can make a ton with Amazon because people buy like crazy there. I guess you just have to know how to do it.

      1. Knowing how to do it and what to do will help a lot. I think that Chris is the right guy to learn from about Amazon.

  10. TIna Barrett says:

Great post, nice blog with a lot of good information. The only problem for me is that I live in Illinois (for now) so I can’t be an affiliate for Amazon anymore. Greedy politicians!

Anyway, keep up the good work!

    Tina

    1. Yea, and as stupid politicians don’t realize, this completely ignorant move with actually decrease revenue into the state and now they will have to look elsewhere for it.

      1. Kevin Kimes says:

The more these politicians do this insanely ridiculous stuff, the more I think they must be doing it intentionally.

How can so many of them be so dumb? The answer is, they can’t. There’s something going on “behind the scenes”.

        1. There’s always something going on behind the scenes when it comes to the government.

  11. fazal mayar says:

im glad that chris decided to launch its own plugin. He is absolutely banking it with amazon|

  12. Health Blog says:

I think I will use Amazon WordPress plugin. I confess that I tried Amazon affiliates without any success and I think I will give this new plugin a try.
    Thanks

  13. Tikyd says:

I had contacted Chris on his blog in the past. I have been surprised when you mentioned the $1 million figure. I did not watch the video, but I think that it could be interesting to see to understand perhaps better how Chris is able to profit from Amazon.

    1. John Chow says:

Chris will tell you what I’m going to tell you. Go watch the video.

    1. John Chow says:

Amazon has not shut down their affiliate program. They only stop it in the State that wants to charge them sales tax. You can still apply for Amazon here: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com

      1. Kevin Kimes says:

I think all the affected affiliates in these states with off-the-map-stupid politicians need to invest some money in PPC campaigns to effect the votes.

But then, the corrupt politicians would probably just illegally-make-that-illegal.

  14. Thanks John,

I have recently started to make some additional income on my blog after a long three and half years – finally. However, my bookstore and amazon program has been yet to start earning any real income. It’s inspiring to know that someone has made so much money with amazon. I wasn’t sure if it was possible – I will have to check out his website and possibly grab this new plugin….

    Kindest Regards,

    Jonathan

  15. Mate Hegedus says:

Great for lazy people like me ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. James Howard says:

I just bought a plugin to use with Amazon but no where near as good looking
and was actually doing some resarch on products ready to buy a domain.

I might have to kick that one into touch and get EasyAzon instead now.

I like the fact that you can localize it as that is always a problem for most
    (including the one I bought)

Will finish my research first but given me food for thought.

    Thanks,
    James Howard

    1. Hey James,

Nice to see you comment here and to know that you are around and kicking. I hope that you are well.

I think this plugin is good and you can get a discount too thanks to John Chow.

      Vance.

    2. Kevin Kimes says:

Hopefully you can get a refund on the other one, heheh.

  17. Matt says:

Great review. I had signed up as an amazon affiliate. I’m going to try this plugin and see how it goes. Thanks for sharing.

  18. Ryan Eagle says:

Great article. I’m starting to recommend amazon to more people now-a-days, this would be a great article for newbies at amazon to read. I’ll be spreading the word!

  19. I agree with you about the premium Word press and the โ€˜WordPress Affiliate Platformโ€™ is an easy to use WordPress plugin for affiliate recruitment, management and tracking that can be used on any WordPress blog/site.

  20. And great plan from Chris, really appreciate to you and your friend….wish you all the best.

  21. Andrew says:

Looks like a nice plugin and only for $47, I think this is a good price.

    1. Abhik says:

      Yes!! It’s indeed a bargain.

    2. You can probably make that much in a couple of weeks if you work hard, then it’s all gravy.

      1. Kevin Kimes says:

And if somebody’s already succeeding with Amazon, then this will give them more time to make more money or just have more free time ๐Ÿ™‚

  22. Elizbath says:

Thanks John for sharing that…Thats a brilliant plug-in for amazon Affiliates..

    1. Abhik says:

      Yes, this one looks promising.

  23. Brent says:

Holy crap! I want to make 1.4 million dollars! This product looks like something I might have to check out.

    1. Yeah would love to know the response from chris …

      1. Hey ZK,

Chris has responded several times to different comments here. I wonder what kind of response you are after.

        1. Yah, I haven’t made $1.4 million dollars from Amazon’s affiliate program. If I was doing that in just a 2 year time frame do you think I’d be bothering much with creating some software lol?

I’ve made about $100k with them and my income is a bit lower than it was before but that’s because I sold one of my largest sites for six figures. So I guess you could say Amazon has helped me make well over $200k in less than 2 years.

  24. max says:

Interesting, I remember talking to your about this Amazon plugin (similar not the same) about a week before EasyAzon registered their domain name, I hope it’s just a coincidence? Well, http://AmazingPlugin.com is coming soon… thanks for sharing my secrets with others, that makes my day.

  25. $1.4MM, i never imagine for this. Cause i only earn 100$ per month and i run my 7 family member with this. I’m new to this business. I hope i’ll learn many things from this site.

    Thank you John

    1. Just take part in various forums and logo design websites and I am sure you will be able to earn more.

One tip – Share your earning only if you are making good otherwise never disclose that you are earning 100

      1. Abhik says:

lol!! Why that? What’s the problem with sharing my little earnings?

  26. Greg says:

    Interesting plugin and video,
I have been using the old way and the time spent is ridiculous. My only concern is that it is yet another plugin to add to maxblogpress ninja affiliate plugin

    This all effects server queries!
I shall look in to it more
    Greg

  27. Nabarun says:

Its a amazing part to know about this plug-in. I have using d old default widgets and products. The webinar also looks much interesting, But this making of 1.4m is the best part of it. Hoping for more such events soon.

  28. I have inserted this plugin really works well thanks for it

  29. I find that amazons conversion rate is crap, do you know what the conversion rate is using this method?

  30. Hey, this is a great plugin! I’ve not heard of this before but your post is useful. I don’t fit many plugins becuase I like my blogs to load fast, but if you are seeking to monetize front of page then this is going to work for you!

  31. Syed says:

Amazon is a really amazing website and i really love it. So is it just like google Ad sense?? Is it better?

  32. Sounds like stealing candy from small children, just to buy EasyAzon plug-in and start making the big money on the internet.

    1. Well, making money from Amazon probably isn’t that easy, but it comes close.

  33. PPC Ian says:

Congrats to Chris on this product launch! There is nobody who knows how to make money on Amazon like Chris. I will be testing the plugin shortly.

  34. Interesting plugin…part of the problem with affiliate sales is that it takes so much time trying to pick out the right link, product match, placement, etc…it’s useful to have something that does all of that for you.

I don’t remember the site, but there was a pretty cool plugin that auto-places ALL of the different affiliate links, but takes 25% of the sales…was pretty cool, actually, and I was thinking of checking it out.

  35. Albert says:

Looks like a cool plugin. But this plugin limited to add links and images. Thats it.

But I’m expecting plugin to insert “Amazon buy now” button in WordPress blog posts. It will directly go to checkout in the amazon.

  36. I think this would be another money making tool for Amazon.

  37. Affiliate Marketing Strategy Model:
You need to become an affiliate of Amazon or Click Bank, generate an affiliate link for your product and publish it on your website or blog or any of the popular social network sites.

  38. Michelle says:

Also curious why this plugin is better than, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-amazon-associate/, which is FREE. It seems to have all the same features. I’ve used the free one on two sites, and it looks like the same thing, so why pay money for it?

  39. amazon is the best plugin and helping to earn a lot

  40. Amazing plugin, definitely in the budget for next month.

  41. Whitney says:

This looks like a super solid way to help you as an amazon affiliate…I personally haven’t had much luck with Amazon, but maybe I gave up too early? Anyways…this looks really cool.

  42. If john this it’s the best plugin of its kind, I’m definitely going to give it a try.

  43. Forex News says:

Selling Amazon products. You can start a blog on just about any topic and make some money with Amazon, I mean, they sell every product in the world, donโ€™t they?

  44. skater says:

i sell all skate products on my wordpress blog
