Today I decided to take the day off and take Sarah and her parents (picture above) to see Varekai Cirque De Soleil. Sarah’s parents are visiting from Shanghai and I wanted to show them all that Vancouver has to offer. And what better way to do that than by taking them to a world class event like the Cirque. They really enjoy the show and said they have never seen anything like that back home.
After the show, we went over to Feenie’s for dinner. The Iron Chef champ wasn’t there today so the parents never got a chance to meet Rob. Feenie’s has changed their menu since the last time I dined there. They add some new stuff, removed some old stuff (no more Iron Chef dishes) and increase the prices on a few items. Sarah’s parents don’t normally like American style cuisine but they love the food at Feenie’s, which made me very happy because I want their stay here to be a nice and memorable one.

One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch. Because of the technology barrier, many would-be bloggers never start their blogs...
