First Newsletter Going Out Soon

written by John Chow on September 21st, 2007

This is a heads up to let everyone know that the first John Chow dot Com newsletter will be going out any day now. If you haven’t subscribed to the newsletter than I highly recommend you do so because you won’t want to miss this premier issue.

I will use the newsletter to talk about stuff that I simply cannot talk about on the blog because the information requires limited exposure in order to stay effective. If too many people know about them, the strategies will lose its effectiveness.

Win a Signed Copy of The 4-Hour Workweek

4-hour workweek

As a little incentive to subscribe, I will be selecting one subscriber to win a signed copy of the best selling book, The 4-Hour Workweek. The winner will be chosen at random from the newsletter list and announced in the premier issue. This is the final signed copy of the 4-Hour Workweek that I will be giving away.

You can subscribe to the newsletter by entering your name and email in the newsletter signup box at the top of this page. Good luck.

Indeed, curious to see what John has to say in the newsletter that he can’t say in public.

Signing up now John

Curious, my browser is trying to view this script src=”http://ads.auctionads.com/pagead/show_ads.js”
as PHP and spiiting its dummy.

It’s not what he “can’t” say in public but what he “won’t”. You wouldn’t have signed up if he didn’t hold stuff back for the mailout

Go on then, I’ll subscribe but more for the tactics than the book.

By the way is anybody else getting a browser error from John’s site today (Firefox), You have chosen to open ads from ads.auctionads.com popup every time a page loads?

depends on the type of newsletters and if readers really enjoy it, I have signed up with many newsletters and in one week again unsubscribe for useless information.

This is like the good old days when teasers / trailers used to be shown in movie theaters. I used to wait till someone saw the movie and then decided whether I would see it or not. How about a sample full news letter so that I can decide?

It’s another evil tactic of John to introduce newsletters right? ;) How much you will be charging for newsletter ads? Unless there is really something special, I am gonna pass…

John,

Your free e-book was fantastic, so count me in for the newsletter. Not sure what all the naysayers above are about, as they can always cancel, and in the meantime, they’ll miss out!
