Four New Categories Added
Those with a sharp eye may have noticed that I added four new categories to this blog. The new categories are as follow:
For whatever reasons, my most popular posts are always the ones where I post about my monthly blog earnings. Therefore, I have taken all the posts from the Making Money From a Blog series and put them in its own category. In addition to that, you will find other posts about making money off the Internet in this category.
I’ve also setup a separate category for Wordpress. I get many emails asking where to get all the Wordpress Plugins I run on this blog. This new category will make those Plugins easy to find.
The new Review My Blog and ReviewMe categories are a value added service for reviewers and advertisers. By creating a new category just for them, I make it more attractive for advertisers to order up ReviewMe reviews (which is running a half price coupon this month) and bloggers to write reviews on this blog.

Whatever it is, its workin for ya Mr. Chow.. I think his secret is the multitude of daily updates..
Reply to this commentOne of the biggest challenges for me surprisingly is creating a suitable number of categories and then categorizing the posts I write because some of them cover over 2/3 of the categories and it looks as if they aren’t all them are parented to my posts .

Reply to this commentI actually just went through that myself. Since I have 2 that fit many of the posts, I just decided to put them under the broader of the two.

Reply to this commentI like the addition of the “make money from a blog” category. One time I had to use the “related posts” section to go back month by month to see them all.
Reply to this commentNice to see those categories added John, it’ll finally help to keep your blog ordered and easily accessed, in the past I had some trouble finding the posts that were related to each other (as your plugin isn’t too precise).
Reply to this commentGood move - it’s good to be organized. But I think bloggers need to be careful not to have too many categories - that’ll just get messy.
Reply to this commentOf course that would be the most popular category. I think it’s the main reason we all visit your site and wish that someday us mere mortals may join the ranks of super blogger like yourself.

Reply to this commentJohn, you always are on top of the ball. Now you just need to use your mad skrilla and buy some of those cars you always feature. Let’s start a rival TV show to Top Gear and call it, “Top Chow.”
Reply to this comment“Make Money from a Blog” has got to be the most useful blog category ever.
Reply to this commentThanks for this heads up John - I was going to email you myself about your Top Commentators plugin, because I couldn’t find it on the Codex.
As always, a valuable resource - thank you!
