I reformatted my Shuttle computer today. It was about due for one. I figure I would do it on a Sunday to give myself a fresh start for the week.
The reformat took quite a bit longer than normal because I wasn’t able to boot right from the CD for some reason. I had to reinstall Windows from Windows. And then part way through the install I had to leave for downtown because we needed to check out the Flagship before it closed. Then we went shopping for some organic food at Famous Food before heading to my parent’s place for Sunday dinner. By the time we got home it was pass 8PM and my Shuttle was now asking me for a user name.
The system is now running nice and fast and the screen has very few icons on it. It looks so clean compared to before! Hopefully, I won’t clutter up the screen with a bunch of icons again.
