Getting Ready For Taipei

Oh man, it feel like such a scramble right now. I have so many things to do before Friday. I just got a haircut today so I won’t have to worry about taking bad photos while in Asia. I also picked up some business cards for Carl Nelson. He ordered them printed here and asked me to pick it up and take it with me to Taipei. I’m not quite sure why he didn’t order them in Hong Kong. I’m sure it would have been cheaper. He also requested that I bring him some Red Zone body spray and Aunt Jemima pancake syrup. It seems they don’t have those items in Hong Kong.

Tomorrow Sarah and I will be heading down to Seattle to pick up our new massage chair and plasma screen. Yes, I am finally replacing the HTPC system I sold a few months ago. The new 50″ screen is the first part of the new setup. I won’t be able to put it together until I get back from Asia however.

Sarah’s parents will be flying in from Shanghai for a visit this Friday. And as bad luck would have it, I’ll be flying out of here this Saturday. I’m sure they will enjoy the new TV and massage chair.

Yeah, that chair is a death chair! It grabbed my arms and hurt me! LOL

Rosie - I got the Fuji AS-999 Massage Chair. It's really nice. I've used a few times already. http://www.thefactoryoutlet.com/massage-chairs/mas...

Have a good flight and see you when you arrive :)

What kind of massage chair did you get??

The reason I did my cards there is because I like the ones at Unico. I don't know anyone else who uses stock like that, and don't feel like running around all over town here to try to find someone that does :)

And yeah, they don't have good pancake syrup here... The only stuff I've found is the corn syrup most HKers use (liquid sugar, with no flavour), or diabetic friendly syrup (which is known to give you explosive diarrhea), and real maple syrup imported from Canada (which is ridiculously expensive).

And Red Zone, I haven't found ANY other brand that works as well, and I've tried them all, believe me :)

Thanks!
