Going All In with ALL IN Energy Drinks

allin-drink.jpg

During my time at the Affiliate Summit West, I met the founder of ALL IN Energy Drink. The drinks are designed for professional poker players but anyone needing a boost can drink it. ALL IN was nice enough to send me three cases of their beverages to try out. The three drinks ALL IN offers are Citrus, Grape and Root Beer.

They all taste really good. My favorite is the Root Beer because it tasted like a real root beer and not an energy drink. The other two drinks tasted good with the Citrus tasting most like what you would expect an energy drink to taste like.

I have big hand! All In! 😀

    1. They should make a protein version with similar ingredients for us workout buffs.

      1. Robert says:

True. How much sugar do these drinks have?

        1. Syed Balkhi says:

i don’t know but i know they have caffiene and taurine in large quantity

        2. Mayank Rocks says:

Like Syed Says. And how will anyone here know sugar content

    2. SiteHoppers says:

I have 4 Aces, me too, I am ALL IN!

  2. That’s a cool looking energy drink. I’m not much of an energy drink type person though.

  3. Well, did it give you any extra energy?

    1. John Chow says:

I don’t feel sleepy right now so I guess it did!

      1. Robert says:

I like my Red Bulls (the sugar free ones). I drink one of those before I go running, and I am a machine for all 4 miles.

        1. Try coce, it makes miracles….just kidding. I am not a big fan of energy drinks either, but I like their unusual taste so once in a while i get to drink some.

      2. Mayank Rocks says:

Or was it an illusion. Like “I am drinking energy drink, so it should stop me from sleeping” Sometimes strong thoughts can make you not sleep..haha J/K :p

    2. Syed Balkhi says:

a better question would be did you crash after the effect of the drink was over ??

  4. Terry Tay says:

Like poker players really need an energy boost 😆

I don’t know if Mike Matusow or Phil Hellmuth need much of a boost. They just need to get hit with a bad beat and their energy will be boiling over.

The drink has 3500% of your daily Vitamin B12

I am an energy drink connoisseur – I love trying new drinks. I’ll have to check around locally to see if these are available. Do you know if they are distributed nationally or only available online for purchase?

    1. I was wondering the same thing… I’ve never seen these around and nobody else I know has seen these… They may be brand new…

  6. Rob says:

I love energy drinks never even heard of these ones. My favorite right now is pomegranite rock star

    1. Robert says:

I used to like the Monster drinks. Those were HUGE, and I felt indestructible for 2-3 hours.

    2. Shawn Knight says:

Agreed – the purple pomegranate rock star’s are awesome, fantastic taste!

    3. Pomegranite rock star? Never seen that flavor before… it sounds like it’d be interesting to try…

      1. Robert says:

I’ve seen them, but I can’t say I’d want to try it. The pomegranite flavor just doesn’t sound like it’d mesh with the wierd taste of an energy drink.

  7. NEM says:

    made in china? 😀

    1. SiteHoppers says:

Maybe or maybe not, probably just smart American marketing.

Have you tried those “Thai Food” plates that you can microwave on TV? Oh my god, that doesn’t even taste like Thai food and tastes horrible, but that was smart American marketing.

  8. hmmmm…poker players wired on energy drinks? This is a good combination why?

    1. It’s definitely not, but it’s a good marketing strategy… Featuring these in The Main Event Commercials.

  9. So all it takes is 3 cases of Energy Drinks to make you do a write up about a company? And those other dumb bastards pay $500 for a review. lol

  10. ALL IN energy drink looks good. I’ve never heard of it before, but if I see one at the store I’ll give it a shot and rack up some chips 😉

  11. Are you playing in the main event John?

  12. Mike Huang says:

Energy drinks all taste the same…=/

    -Mike

    1. Bloggerking says:

Are you are what you are talking about…lolz

    2. Kacper says:

A lot of them tastes similar, but some flavoured are really cool and unique in taste.

      1. I definitely agree, if you’ve had a few different types, you can definitely tell the difference 😉

    3. They generally taste similiar but have their each own unique selling point about them which makes people believe they taste differently.

  13. brady ware says:

Somebody call all the hospitals in Canada something has happened to John. Maybe it was an all in overdose. This is the first time in months of reading johnchow.com that I have seen only one post submitted on any given day. John if something did happen I am pulling for you.

  14. MR. NICE GUY says:

So what’s the taste like John. I think it’s kinda interesting energy drink. If it has flavors does it tastes like a refreshing herbal drink or just like any refreshing drinks out there?

  15. MR. NICE GUY says:

This silhouette guy giving bad comments to John is coward. Why don’t you show your face man or your blog, or maybe ur just among the hundreds of spammers who’ve nothing to do in life. What you did is an act of cowardice. Be a Man!

  16. Kacper says:

Zero sugar – sounds good. But I’m not a big fan of energy drinks.
    I think I prefer ginseng tea 🙂

  17. Blogmastr says:

Ahhh now if only I was being given free energy drinks! Maybe I’d be able to keep my eyes open at work..haha. It has a pretty nice logo aswell. Nice work whoever did the graphic design!

  18. Robert says:

No sugar? Very well then. I’ll definitely try to find one of these and drink one. With a wife, a kid, and a mortgage, it’s tough to have energy to work out, let alone stay awake!

  19. Syed Balkhi says:

i used to take Monster but now i get sick from it everytime i take it… so i stopped Red Bull has stopped working on me … The new 5 Hour Energy drink is pretty good. Wondering how long that will last.

    1. Robert says:

Are you talking about the ones in that TV commercial?? That looks interesting. How are they?

  20. Hannah says:

Those look pretty cool! Like some of the above posters, I’m not a huge energy drink fan, but I do drink them from time to time and might take a look around to see if I find these around Ottawa. I really like the design of the cans.

  21. Wade Shuler says:

I really don’t drink energy drinks. I don’t even drink Coke or Pepsi. I used to get a lot of bad migraines. I gave up pop and feel 100 times better. I rarely get headaches anymore. Some of the guys at my work drink like 20 of them a day. I will let then know, maybe they would be interested.

    1. I think an occasional energy drink is fine, just to test out a new flavor… But, usually they give me energy for a little over an hour, then I crash…

      1. Robert says:

Agreed, there is always that after-the-rush crash that is so devastating. Syed, above, says that the 5-hour one (I think on TV) is supposed to be good, though. They advertise it as not having that crash.

  22. POYTSPOT says:

I have this feeling that im going to like the Grape flavor.. 😛

  23. InfoDoorway says:

Caffeine, blogging & poker – right up my alley! Thanks for the heads up!

  24. unnikuttan says:

    this was a paid review

    1. Was it? Usually Kwan does the paid reviews… It could just be a rambling…

      1. Kwan usually does the reviews…its been known here for a while now 😈

  25. Simon Lau says:

I’ve had a few sips of red bull and never really liked the taste of energy drinks. However, this root beer tasting one sounds intriguing!

    1. Definitely Simon, I am interested to find out what a Root Beer energy drink tastes like 😉

  26. James Wilcox says:

Another gimmick to sell energy drinks.

I still prefer my own. zero sugar, zero carbs, 8 calories.

    1. Mayank Rocks says:

YOu make your own drinks. Wow! 😯

    2. Impressive, you make your own James. I’ll have to check them out 😉

      1. Robert says:

        How much are they?

        1. James Wilcox says:

I wish I had come up with the idea myself. I am an IBO with a company that has exclusive rights for distribution however. I think they are the best. I like the cola flavor, root beer, and the green tea. The citrus and the berry are also good, just not my favorites. They retail for about $2 each which is about the same as a Red Bull.

  27. Mayank Rocks says:

    $500,000 is insane 😯

    1. It’s pretty cool though… as the minimum purse… Very impressive 😉

  28. nis says:

    hey Mr Nice Guy.
You call someone a coward when they give -ve comment? I don’t think the person was being -ve–he/she was just saying that he/she is seeing only 1 post a day in this blog.

Common bro–don’t be too nice also–don’t kiss ass..

And yeah–Enery drinks are not good for health. You should avoid them. Just eat right and get plenty of sleep and exercise well.
    Thats it…

    1. Robert says:

If you guys get into a good back-and-forth, I just might have to grab some popcorn.

    2. Mr Nice Guy says:

Mr. Silhuette Guy there’s nothing wrong with bad comments or constructive criticism what i mean is when you place -ve comments don’t hide yourself. Why afraid of who? If you have your blog identify it. It’s very unfair for the person you commented to when you act like a coward by not devulging your identity.

  29. drinking 1000 cans of energy drinks would probably kill me!

or atleast give me heart palpitations.

    1. Drinking 1,000 cans? It would definitely do some damage! The heart speeds up after just 1 depending on the type of energy drink…

  30. I’m a fan of energy drinks. I haven’t heard of this one. Will try it when I see it.

  31. natespost says:

did it make you a better poker player?

  32. ismabera says:

Years ago I lost a lot of money with ‘4 Kings’ (6 sallories) so I play poker only for beans – lol. But, no problem to drink this drinks – I should take only Citrus or Grape. If I drink beer, I want 😯 BEER. Is this offer for Europe, too? What about minimum quantities and delivery costs for EU?

  33. ismabera says:

Out of Topics (newbie’s) question : How can I put my Avatar in your blog, John? 😕

    1. natespost says:

Just click on your silhouette and it will take you to the site where you set it up for free. Works for many other sites, too.

      1. Gravatar.com should do the trick 😉

  34. Joseph says:

    I’ll stick to red bull.

    1. Interesting compilation Jimson… Do you have a personal preference of energy drink?

  35. Tim says:

I hate these energy drinks. I see people drinking Red Bull at 6am in the morning on their way to work. Just Sick

  36. natespost says:

They taste like bat urine. At least when I imagine what bat urine would taste like…that’s what it is.

  37. David Chew says:

A contest to promote product and by giving that much sounds really good to those who want to win.

  38. and look they make you agree to write about them on this blog..lots of energy indeed.

  39. John Chew,

Have you heard about Crave Energy Drink?
