Going All In with ALL IN Energy Drinks

written by John Chow on March 15th, 2008

allin-drink.jpg

During my time at the Affiliate Summit West, I met the founder of ALL IN Energy Drink. The drinks are designed for professional poker players but anyone needing a boost can drink it. ALL IN was nice enough to send me three cases of their beverages to try out. The three drinks ALL IN offers are Citrus, Grape and Root Beer.

They all taste really good. My favorite is the Root Beer because it tasted like a real root beer and not an energy drink. The other two drinks tasted good with the Citrus tasting most like what you would expect an energy drink to taste like.

$500,000 ALL IN Poker Tournament

ALL IN is holding an invitation only tournament to play against the world’s top professional poker players in Las Vegas. The minimum purse will be $500,000 and may grow as ALL IN Energy Drink purchases increase. There’s also a $1,000 “Bounty” for every pro player you knock out. 1,200 Invitations are available to be won. There are two ways to win an invitation to the tournament.

Be a top 1,000 ALL IN Energy Drink customer:

  • Every registered purchase of ALL IN Energy Drink earns you ‘chips’
  • Top 1,000 chip counts will receive an Invitation
  • Top 20 chip counts will also receive VIP Travel & Accommodations
  • Review contest rules for full details

Be an ALL IN Energy Drink Wild Card Sweepstakes Winner:

  • 200 additional names will be drawn in a sweepstakes
  • No purchase necessary
  • Review contest rules for full details

Like poker players really need an energy boost

I don’t know if Mike Matusow or Phil Hellmuth need much of a boost. They just need to get hit with a bad beat and their energy will be boiling over.

I am an energy drink connoisseur - I love trying new drinks. I’ll have to check around locally to see if these are available. Do you know if they are distributed nationally or only available online for purchase?

I’ve seen them, but I can’t say I’d want to try it. The pomegranite flavor just doesn’t sound like it’d mesh with the wierd taste of an energy drink.

Maybe or maybe not, probably just smart American marketing.

Have you tried those “Thai Food” plates that you can microwave on TV? Oh my god, that doesn’t even taste like Thai food and tastes horrible, but that was smart American marketing.

I really don’t drink energy drinks. I don’t even drink Coke or Pepsi. I used to get a lot of bad migraines. I gave up pop and feel 100 times better. I rarely get headaches anymore. Some of the guys at my work drink like 20 of them a day. I will let then know, maybe they would be interested.

I think an occasional energy drink is fine, just to test out a new flavor… But, usually they give me energy for a little over an hour, then I crash…

Reply to this comment
Robert said on March 16th, 2008 at 9:28 pm

Agreed, there is always that after-the-rush crash that is so devastating. Syed, above, says that the 5-hour one (I think on TV) is supposed to be good, though. They advertise it as not having that crash.

I wish I had come up with the idea myself. I am an IBO with a company that has exclusive rights for distribution however. I think they are the best. I like the cola flavor, root beer, and the green tea. The citrus and the berry are also good, just not my favorites. They retail for about $2 each which is about the same as a Red Bull.

hey Mr Nice Guy.
You call someone a coward when they give -ve comment? I don’t think the person was being -ve–he/she was just saying that he/she is seeing only 1 post a day in this blog.

Common bro–don’t be too nice also–don’t kiss ass..

And yeah–Enery drinks are not good for health. You should avoid them. Just eat right and get plenty of sleep and exercise well.
Thats it…

Mr. Silhuette Guy there’s nothing wrong with bad comments or constructive criticism what i mean is when you place -ve comments don’t hide yourself. Why afraid of who? If you have your blog identify it. It’s very unfair for the person you commented to when you act like a coward by not devulging your identity.
