Google Page Rank Update

written by John Chow on September 29, 2006

How to make $593 in less than one hour

It looks like Google is doing another round of PageRank updates. A check of my blog at Live PageRank shows I’m doubling my PageRank from a PR2 to PR4. Right now 21 data center has me at the new PageRank.

This is lower than the PR5 that the Google PageRank Prediction tool (below) predicted but that’s better than staying at the same PR, or worst, dropping! Feel free to use the tool to see if it can correctly predict your new PageRank. After you get an answer, head over to Live PageRank to find out what your new PageRank really is.

Uh oh, Thetechzone.com went down to a 5!

My site dropped down to a 5 a couple months ago too…

Thetechzone.com was a 5. http://www.thetechzone.com was a 6. Don’t ask me why. I just check thetechzone.com now at Live Pagerank. It’s all 6′s now. The same for http://www.thetechzone.com

Eli – The PageRank predictor may have predicted a 5 for you but it looks like you’re still a 3. :( http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=www.photoshopstar.com

John I love your site, but I wish you would provide full RSS feeds! ( http://www.fullfeeds.com )

As far as I know, Live Pagerank hasn’t had acccess to the “hidden” PR that Google’s algo uses for months now. The column you see is simply the toolbar PR from each of the data centers they list.

My webpage http://www.world-travel-quotes.com reached a pagerank 4 and although I make frequent updates, it has been stalled there for about 12 months. How can I get better pagerank?

hmm. . .cannot be predicted? :-(

too bad. . .but then mines just a personal site. so not many backlinks and stuff…

another thing is tht most of my refferrers are mostly from yahoo where i enjoy a first page listing!
